Both are delusional, but the more extreme ones always win out because human beings are impatient. The Communist wants to eradicate all religion, they don't just hate rich people / aristocracy. Communism doesn't work partially because it involves removing religion, which is what the society is built around to begin with. I've honestly heard from two far left women older than me "Communism could work if people were perfect."

This is laughable given Communism in practice of trying to create an artificial utopia always winds up with a self-imposed corrupt hell once the useful idiots are done away with after revolution / civil war. "We can talk this out" kind of Menshevik and Conservative Inc. behavior doesn't work when you're trying to have conversations with men with swords shrieking about "Fascist" bogeymen. The irony of groups like Breadtube and Antifa is their behavior and its consequences are how you get far right/Fascist movements for real. The "let's just all get along" moderate politics fail when dealing with a threat like this which does not care about your rules or institutions.

The hatred of religion is why Spanish Republicans dug up dead nuns and why Bolsheviks dug up and burned Rasputin's body to ashes. Regardless of whatever theological sympathies you may or may not have, there is a pattern of behavior between far left movements like these. They all have their bogeymen, "It's the church! The thing about Communists and leftists more generally is that they can't separate the right into individual peaces, there is LITERALLY no difference between white nationalists, traditionalists, ancaps, pergressive rightists(tech bros) and center rightists. It's all one thing that they are against.
Think about how they talk about the Nuclear Family,"it holds up capitalism and therefore must be destroyed." Anyone with a brain and basic understanding of how society functions understand that the family unit under pins, not just the Market but, CIVILIZATION IT'S SELF, the communist dosen't understand this.
They have what I call "The kingdom in-between their ears" the opponent isn't a person, the opponent is an obstacle to be overcome.

It definitely exists, but is muted by censorship and the fact that the US has ostensibly cut back on a lot of that as of late thanks to the Great Tangerine Demon. However all those things are downstream from the ideas of a liberal democracy which is the guiding ideology of Europe, anyways. West Europe can't be truly rightwing in either the Austrian economic sense or in the militaristic nationalistic sense without a total breakdown of the current system.
