Yeah nah I knew it was unreadable. I wasn't trying to post the full thread, just taking a picture to showcase how many wordswordswords were being written (and subsequently ignored by their own target audience).
 
I'm not surprised that Jacob Geller turned out to be a rapist at all. Something about the performative empathy and moralfaggy tone in his videos always rubbed me off the wrong way.

He also single handedly popularized the whole "if you don't like this banana taped to a wall you're a fascist" thing that midwits love parroting.

They subconsciously seek the exposure they fear because on some level they want to get it over with and be free of the anticipation, and hyperbolically moralize in an effort to balance out their sins, while projecting their own warranted self-hatred onto the broader demographics they belong to.

I'm not going to look into it but I feel pretty confident the truth will be he committed some sort of technicality of a non-offence, and we only know about it because it's a Title IX thing; which as far as I am aware is nearly always just some young immature students getting involved in messy situations because they are young, immature students. The sort of thing we would handle with more leniency if we still, collectively, had more common sense.

This Channel is a good representation of one piece fans. They literally treat a kid show/manga like a religious book, in the same way christians see the Bible, muslims the Quran and commies the Kapital.
In a way I understand them. If I spent thousands of hours on a show that the author doesn't even know how to end and just start writing bullshit and abusing soap opera tier flashbacks I too would gaslight myself into thinking that the show is some sort of revolutionary work with real world implications.

Video was published February 28 2020, or 2 months (exactly 62 days) before the UNC records were court mandated to be published.

And so when it first broke, many people in the Jacob Geller sphere thought that maybe this was a fabrication. But it quickly was found out to be true through the university's Title 9 releases

This is bizarre to me since the news actually broke through some woman on twitter who went to his university and did not seem to me to be right wing in any way. The Title IX release was found by a user in this thread, but I don't know how there could be doubt about that, and it seems like he means the original post about the woman on twitter. I guess what happened is a leftist was reading this thread and found out about the twitter woman and told people it was an alt-right thing because he didn't want to mention being on Kiwifarms and then the other leftists just took that at face value.

Friendly reminder that you know that someone has no idea about politics when they UNIRONICALLY use the term "Alt-right" in conversation about modern politics, that movement died in 2017/18 after Charlottesville was a horrific disaster.

Edit: Decided to go back and watch the whole thing because there's nothing to do at work. Although I don't think he's anywhere near as retarded, this guy reminds me a lot of Jammies. They have almost the same format. Both watch in real time the entirety of a video, pausing every few seconds to go on a tirade. Both have plainly not seen the video before, but decided that it was wrong ahead of time. Both have this same self-soothing tic of asserting that what they're watching is dumb before they continue watching it. The only real difference is that this guy doesn't autistically handwrite his notes in MS Paint. I wonder if maybe this is the dawn of a Breadtube 2.0? A new style of leftie slop content composed entirely of reactions to popular dissident videos?
Also, at the end, he makes the argument that Basic Logic is himself transgender and repressing it.
