While he sucked at STEM, he did well in literature and composition subjects, likely by hitting those boxes teachers write in their grading standards. Like a dog doing tricks, these feelings of satisfaction from the high grades from hitting the boxes fueled his love for pedantic argumentation.
Yesterday Jammies uploaded a new video which could not offer better support for this argument if he tried.
tl;dw is that argumentative writing must follow a strict set of rules which are suspiciously similar to a high school grading rubric, and deviation from these rules demonstrates the author's inability to communicate. Of particular note is that Jammies uses the introduction to one of his own undergrad essays as an example, which I've painstakingly transcribed below.
The 20th century would be an era where millions of people would experience radical change to implement new and progressive governments in the newly decolonized world. However, South Africa would become an antithesis for this new age of progress, priding itself on the aging ideal of White Supremacy and thereby creating one of the harshest racial hierarchies in human history. Named Apartheid, it, and its predecessor laws would bring into being an oppressive police-state that sacrificed its Black population to rule its White population with fear. The South African government utilized racial fear to create an authoritarian state that oppressed its non-White population, and then eventually political opponents of its White population. Additionally, the government would use the Cold War, specifically anti-Communism, as another source of fear to further centralize power and enact a police state. By both its nature and the decisions of South Africa's leaders, the Cold War would affect all levels of community, leaving a large cultural mark both in governance and in its natural zeitgeist used by the South African government to create a divided society at a fundamental level. While Apartheid may seem like an ancient, outdated institution, its lessons on fear, policy, and power are still critical today. As I demonstrate, unchecked fear was the flaw that led South Africa to its undemocratic governance in the 20th century. Today, fear destroying democracy is a phenomenon that is just as possible as it was in the Apartheid era and not exclusive to South Africa whatsoever, making the lessons to be learned from South Africa just as relevant.
I don't want to get in the weeds by analyzing every grammatical error or poor choice of words, but I think most semi-competent readers will recognize this is super super awkward. It's uncomfortable to read and, contrary to Jammies' claims, obfuscates rather than clarifies his thesis. It is also, of course, written from a social justice perspective to affirm the grievances of precious brown people. In the video, Jammies mentions that the "new and original" component of his argument is his position that White people are not immune to abuse of authority, although he makes it very clear that blacks are far more vulnerable.
I gotta admit I find this guy fascinating now. He is the ultimate case study in the effect of public education on midwittery; by virtue of his obedience and capacity to regurgitate shitlib talking points, he now believes himself to be in a position to educate others despite a functionally low intelligence.

Jammies probably takes many of his ideas about what makes a good essay from his years at high school/college.
Almost certainly.

I decided to give his videos a chance after he came out of nowhere and gained a not-insignificant following seemingly overnight and I could not have been more disappointed with what I was presented with.

His "videos" are little more than glorified streamclips of his Asperger's-sounding ass fumbling through a video for an hour and a half completely missing the point of the argument, being too stupid to understand what's presented, asking for LE HECKING SOURCEORINOS every other sentence and scribbling barely legible notes to the side that mean nothing. He isn't smart, he isn't funny, his videos are barely edited whatsoever, let alone well-edited, he has basically zero knowledge on any of the subjects that he is deboonking and it's all wrapped in a borderline-delusional self-aggrandizing mission statement of "fighting misinformation".

I am thoroughly convinced that the sole reason he has any form of following is because he ebinly dunks on le chuds and internet leftists have zero standards. There is no other possible explanation for something this poorly constructed and lazy to get any kind of attention.

If he wasn't overtly political in his motivations and targets, specifically with a anti-rightists slant, he'd be sitting at maybe 10 subscribers.

I've stumbled across channels almost identical to his in terms of presentation and argumentative style and none of them broke 30 views. It's low-effort midwit asscancer with no style or substance made by a 90 IQ dweeb sitting in his bedroom after he peaked during a single subject in high school.

"The south sides with Hitler"
Why? The south is made up of people descended from mostly French and British people not Germans(aren't they? Correct me if I'm wrong pls) why would they side with him?
"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECIM"
I always find this assertion funny because southern United States racism in the 1860s was wildly different from authoritarian German racism in the 1930s in both it's conception and philosophy, let alone it's execution. They aren't natural allies just because they both hated minorities.

The Wolfenstein reboot did something similar, where the KKK were ready to be the bestest buddies evars with the Nazi occupiers because racism o algo even though said occupiers saw them as retarded mutts. Because as we all know if there's one thing the Good Ol Boys love it's a centralized government of foreigners with has zero respect for their beliefs or customs imposing their rule on top of them with overwhelming military force.

Iirc the south justified it's racism with "white man's burden"-esqe assertions that other races were inherently subservient on a biological level and said subservience to whites was, more or less, the "natural order of things", and as such the federal government imposing otherwise was a violation of said natural order and incredibly foolish. Blacks were bio-mechanical farm equipment put on this earth by white Jesus to pick crops, essentially.

Nazi Germany, on the other hand, believed that racial undesirables were not only inherently inferior, but either inadvertently or deliberately caustic elements being actively, maliciously used by (((international cabals))) to sabotage and destroy white civilizations, and as such they needed to be removed from society (if not outright exterminated) to prevent societal rot. They were pests and vermin.

The Confederates believed that blacks were less than human and were profoundly cruel about it, but they still ultimately saw them as valuable assets to be maintained and used. All evidence suggests that if slavery was abolished in the south then the most likely option would've been mass deportation back to Africa (which the North also considered), not a black shoah.

This isn't even getting into the bizarre esoteric mysticism shit that the Nazi leaders had knocking around in their heads, which even most pro-phrenology Confederates would've likely called nonsensical pagan skitzobabble.

His standards for what makes a good essay are giving me vivid flashbacks to high school writing class. Hook->Introduction->Reasoning->Evidence->Revisit Thesis->Why It Matters->Conclusion is beat for beat the exact same. I'd say the biggest problem with his advice is that imposing a rigid standard for something as fluid as argumentation is setting yourself up for failure caused by an inability to adapt to different mediums (like Youtube videos) or unfamiliar contexts. His repeated misunderstanding of arguments not within this format demonstrates this fact. Like many midwits, he's focused on the "how" of things rather than the "why", to put it simply.

And if that excerpt from his undergrad essay is supposed to validate his advice, then all it actually proves is how literacy has gone down the shitter if this guy has managed to become some kind of authority on anything related to it.

"The 20th century would be an era where millions of people would experience radical change to implement new and progressive governments in the newly decolonized world"
First of all, immediately using "would be" instead of "was" is a tragedy of grammar. That's a conditional progressive, meaning the actions described are both hypothetical/conditional and ongoing which is the exact opposite of how a retrospective essay about history should be written. That's not even the worst of it.

"Named Apartheid, it, and its predecessor laws would bring into being an oppressive police-state that sacrificed its Black population to rule its White population with fear. The South African government utilized racial fear to create an authoritarian state that oppressed its non-White population, and then eventually political opponents of its White population. Additionally, the government would use the Cold War, specifically anti-Communism, as another source of fear to further centralize power and enact a police state."
This part is especially bad. The "predecessor laws" brought in an oppressive police-state, but then anti-communism was used to enact a police state, again? So was South Africa then a double police-state? Also lol at the verb choice of "sacrificed". I'm sure he chose it for those juicy emotional connotations, but without the historical knowledge it sounds like the government enacted TND to spook the racist whitoids. "Cold War, specifically anti-Communism, as another source of fear" makes it sound like South Africans were afraid of anti-communist actions. So were they all communists, then?

That part also likely reveals that he equates any anti-communist action during the Cold War period with the cartoonish parody of American Red Scare Lenin-in-your-toast hysteria modern-day Marxists like to push as truth. No doubt his high school teacher taught him about how ebil the McCarthy hearings were. "Natural zeitgeist" is also a made up term.

"As I demonstrate, unchecked fear was the flaw that led South Africa to its undemocratic governance in the 20th century. Today, fear destroying democracy is a phenomenon that is just as possible as it was in the Apartheid era and not exclusive to South Africa whatsoever, making the lessons to be learned from South Africa just as relevant."
Of course he concludes that today bad people with Power™ use Fear™ to oppress Minorities™ and hurt Democracy™. OMG THIS IS LITERALLY EXACTLY DRUMPF'S AMERIKKKA BILLIONAIRES LITERALLY HYPNOTIZE MAGAPEDE CRACKERS INTO HATING WHOLESOME BROWN PEOPLES. His libtard professor definitely praised this essay to high heavens because of that parallel which is why he feels so confident in showing it off. Modern professors prefer producing apparatchiks over producing rational individuals with the ability to differentiate truths from lies.

I could go on.

I am thoroughly convinced that the sole reason he has any form of following is because he ebinly dunks on le chuds and internet leftists have zero standards. There is no other possible explanation for something this poorly constructed and lazy to get any kind of attention.

He found a niche as a faux-academic reviewing dumbshit with the pretense of intellectual authority. His deboonking videos probably get so many views because Breadtube shit itself and doesn't care about debunking rightwing videos anymore. That muscle atrophied after the great purges of the mid 2010's and early 2020's killed creators with views right of Biden online, so seething liberals and leftists had to look for someone new to reaffirm that these new scary videos were all fact-checked false. Notice how all of the RW channels he reviews aren't much older than a few years and with their popularity only coming about post-2024.

I gotta admit I find this guy fascinating now. He is the ultimate case study in the effect of public education on midwittery; by virtue of his obedience and capacity to regurgitate shitlib talking points, he now believes himself to be in a position to educate others despite a functionally low intelligence.
I'd say he's essentially the embodiment the modern failings of academia. Him heavily valuing the citations and formatting of an argument rather than its actual substance is a direct parallel to high schools and universities preferring adherence to ideological orthodoxy rather than open debate. If everyone is in agreement, then the focus of argument would shift from trying to convince others of your perspective to reaffirming those truths "properly" using standards that descend from the exact same place on high the acceptable beliefs do. Naturally, believers won't deviate from either, and dissidents will resent both.

Ironically he'd also be the type to say that bix-nooding Ebonics is a perfectly valid form of English and that prescriptive grammar is White supremacy.

Boy, if only the Rand Rebellion had succeeded, then the communists would have been in charge and South Africa would have never enacted Apartheid.
Oh, wait…

While not Breadtube, this channel is definitely breadtube adjacent. Low quality slop althistory channel, but he regularly shouts out breadtubers as viable "sources" for all of his speculation. In this case, he shouts out Aten-Shei Films for some info regarding the South's economy.

TL;DW: In an alternate history of where the South wins the civil war, the youtuber paints the most bleakest, dreary future for the Confederacy imaginable. They immediately fall on hard times after winning, the North becomes even more powerful without the South dragging it down, the South becomes isolationist before deciding to side with Hitler in ww2 but then pussy out at the last second and go neutral, Heuy Long becomes a racist dictator, the country then goes Nazbol and isolationist once again then it forms a Juche-like government. Blacks rise up against da ebil HuWhite man and form Black Enclaves, propped up by the North. Soviets prop up the South's government until the Soviet Union itself collapses, which then causes the South to become African tier, forcing them to concede to the North and re-enter the Union, making the whole video pointless in the end.
What always blows my mind about these civil war alt-histories is they all just assume that slavery would have just stayed the status quo forever never to be revisited again. The south was way less industrialized than the north and a lot of people were sour with the feds trying to stick their noses into state's self governance on principal. If they were pure le heckin' ebil waycist then why would they want a sizable black minority after advancements in agricultural technology made them an irrelevant menace? I bet my fat left nut they'd be shipping they asses back to africa, or more likely just turning a blind eye to them crossing the border into the north. Baltimore and Philly were destined to be annihilated by negros in all timelines. Slavery could have been outlawed on Christian moral grounds down the road or remained on the books in some quirky "legal, but not practiced" way or a million other outcomes but these soy golems just think the south is filled to the brim with fat White people in straw hats and overalls chewing wheat sticks, racking shotguns, spitting tobacco while screaming "nigger!" all day and that's all there is to them.

They think it's all Django: Unchained down south. Dumb hicks with pitchforks chasing black men through stinky swamps.

Besides the different nuances on racial views, it should be noted that in real life the KKK in the late 1930s (after it was losing influence due to scandals and mismanagement) was divided over organizations such as the pro-Hitler German-American Bund as the Klan more or less consisted of Anglo-Saxon American nativists which made them very wary of foreign influence. This illustrates that tangentially shared political views doesn't automatically mean an alliance can be formed between two parties.

Not exactly Breadtube, but idk where else to post the new Jammies video. He announced a few days ago that it was something exciting that many people had been asking for, and today he finally sated our curiosity.
  • I'm not sure Jammies knows what an essay is. He is at least aware that viewers will question if a Game Theory video counts, because the very first thing he does in this video is argue that it does. Personally, I think Game Theory is more concerned with entertaining the audience than persuading them, so I wouldn't call this an "essay."
  • The second thing he does is plug a gofundme he's running for a friend who apparently can't afford college because her parents have been arrested. This is the second charity drive he's done, after one he did in the memory of a friend who committed suicide. This seems like a whole can of worms. I'll just note that he apparently believes he has the clout to convince lots of people to give him money for personal causes. He also acts indignant that the school expects his friend to pay tuition despite her "homelessness," as though he expects them to just give her an education for free.
  • He complains that people have criticized him for "plagiarism," on the grounds that he plays other youtubers' videos in his own videos, and says "you don't know what the fuck you're talking about." While it's true that plagiarism isn't the right word to use, it's also true that Jammies reproduces the entirety of other youtube videos in his own content. If you watch a Jammies video, you have no reason to watch the original video (and give the creator views and money) because you would have already seen it.
  • He complains that the first part of the video, in which MatPat explains the lore of the first FNAF game, "takes forever." This section is five minutes long; Jammies uploads rambling, directionless videos that are usually 45 minutes long but can run as long as two hours.
  • Jammies' main concern is that the argument is too speculative. While it's true that MatPat cannot definitively prove whether the Chuck E Cheese shooting inspired FNAF, I don't think that was really the point. I think that he was just trying to present a plausible explanation, and in my opinion, he does. Here's an excellent video defending MatPat. Also, Jammies argues it's implausible that this shooting could have inspired Scott Cawthon, because it was "twenty years ago, in another state," as thoug he couldn't easily have discovered this by googling "chuck e cheese murder."
  • One big issue Jammies takes with MatPat's evidence is that MatPat assumes the security guard is getting paid minimum wage, and uses that to determine year in which FNAF is set. He argues that minimum wage varies by state, and that it's possible the guard is getting paid more than minimum wage. If the guard is in fact getting paid more than minimum wage, though, that would necessarily push the game further into the past, which wouldn't fit the technology present in the game. Jammies is upset that MatPat doesn't effectively prove the game is set in the 80s or 90s, which is stupid because I don't see how it could be plausibly set in any other time period, nor why that's even important to the argument at hand. I wouldn't consider any of this worth mentioning, except that Jammies also complains that MatPat "doesn't source" the minimum wage. Was it ever in doubt? You can't tell this faggot that you wiped your ass without showing him the toilet paper to prove it.
  • His scoring system is just adding points when he sees something he likes and taking them away when he sees something he dislikes, but the truth value of an argument isn't determined by the number of correct or incorrect statements made supporting it.
  • He won't stop laughing, and it sounds like he's choking.
  • It's really hard to deconstruct a Jammies video because it's often unclear what his argument is. He says MatPat is wrong to draw a comparison between Golden Freddy being limp and the chef from the shooting playing dead by going limp, but he doesn't explain why he feels this way. He just laughs and asserts that it's not persuasive. For a guy who lauds himself on his communication skills, he is hard to follow.
  • He tells the audience to "be humble," which is pretty ironic given his last video, in which he used his own dogshit college assignment as an example for others to follow.

There is something uniquely frustrating about this guy. He never substantiates anything he says. He just repeats "it's bad," or "it's stupid," or "it's not convincing," over and over and over again. And he legitimately believe that constitutes an argument. Further, he believes that his skills of argumentation are strong enough that he is in a position to educate others on good and bad argumentation, and mock his opponents by laughing at them.

I saw a few videos by toxicgaymer(real name of channel) on the birdman and holy shit that guy is insufferable.
He weirdly claims "I'm not political" while clearly being a breadtuber, he desperately wants you to think he's a high IQ black and he's apparently moving into politics, which is insane because he has a video DEFENDING THE REACTION FROM THE LEFT OF THE CHARLIE KIRK SHOOTING!(#bothsides btw)
If he dosen't already have a kiwifarms page he definitely needs one.

As far as I can tell there is no Birdman thread on this site. There really should be one for the cringe alone.
He would mention the site directly he has that big of an ego.

Breadtuber seethes at comments from his previous Wolfenstein essays while (very poorly) examining radicalization into '''right wing''' extremism, and tries to argue that "Trump is not a nazi, but he talks like a nazi, moves like a nazi, breathes like a nazi", putting footage of people like the Quartering, Charlie Kirk, and the Jan 6 protesters so you mentally associates them with something similar to nazism. He contradicts himself from mentioning infighting among "nazis" to then in the end say non-leftists are a monolith, citing a National Review piece saying Trump supporters are subhuman showing how the so called grifters hate their base, and says that all grievances that make these communities grow online are created by the vaguely defined billionaires and that they never attack the rich, plus everything is class war.

So....basically the same things they always say? They're like wind-up toys. They can only repeat the same motions forever.

Mr Beat once made a video about how heckin bad jaywalking laws are without ever googling the definition of jaywalking. JAYWALKING IS A MADE UP WORD BY THOSE HECKING EVIL CAR DRIVERS!!1 IT'S MY RIGHT TO STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WHENEVER I WANT11

Yes, but birdman really dose think he's a high Iq genius that's owed massive audience and cultural cache. It's his ego that makes him lolcow worthy not necessarily his very run of the mill politics(oh but he knows what Masculinism is so he's not that left wing) irrelevant, if it walks, quacks and Jerks itself off like a nigger what do you expect me to call it?
He even has a Twitter post where he "reveals" that he took an internet IQ test and he claimed to have a 140.
I'm not making this up!
