I'm asking for a philosophical basis for why housing would be a fundamental human right. Is it something that descends from a transcendent authority, like God? Does it descend from an idealized "state of nature" in which we can imagine what primitive humans had liberties to do and not do before any society was formed? Is it something that the nation has legislated as a fundamental right through its representatives in government?

Saying "look it's in [X] thing!!!!!!" is a bad argument, and won't convince the vast majority of Americans (unless it's the Bible, and even then it's not likely).

Literally breadtube would have a better argument for their socialist ideals as fundamental human rights if they pointed to Acts 2:44-47 as the basis. At least that has the patina of transcendent authority.

Well they can't or wont use it because Acts 2:44-47 Specifically you should share your food and objects with believers , not with everyone, (Acts 2:44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.) Since almost all of breadtube is atheist, or maybe some have new age beliefs. So for a quick TDLR Acts 2:44-47 explicitly says Christians should share things with other Christians in their community, not with the lazy unregenerate troons down the road at the tranch, its why wont they wont bring up this chapter of Acts.

Has any Breadtuber ever correlated that countries with weak to no property rights eventually either become poor, tyrannical or both? Hell Nazi Germany which they seemingly always refer to as the final form of capitalism would hardly be an example of robust property rights given that Jews got their property seized, catholics to a lesser extent and was certain industrial agents who didn't tow the party line would lose them too.

Well, you asked how BreadTubers justify the right to housing and I just pointed out that I personally have seen them refer to the UDHR. In other words, as far as BTs are concerned it is an actual right that is already on the books, not merely a philosophical or theoretical one that they need to justify. This is not a thread about the merits of the UDHR (all I can say about that is that the UDHR is very real legally and extremely consequential), and I am not going to enter into that discussion here. Perhaps you can slip into a BreadTuber's comment section and pose that question about a philosophical justification, see if they take the bait? My guess is that the answer will be something in the realm of ethics about homelessness being inhumane (leaving humans to the elements like animals thus putting them in danger) and unnecessary due to widespread vacancy (empty office buildings, abandoned malls, ghost towns, "who needs three vacation homes they spend one week out of the year in", etc). Again, see if you can get an actual BreadTuber to answer that question.
