That is not the case, child labor did not decline because of FDR and his New Deal programs. Child labor was already in steep decline due to a growing middle class and parents wanting better for their kids. Such, it was the personal sacrifice of parents and their responsibility to their young that was predominantly responsible for dramatic reduction in child labor. We can see in the graph below that the rate of child labor had declined to about 3% at the beginning of the 1930s.

I could go on about his opposition to standardized testing in favor of an European content model that is also disfavored by progressives but I just don't care to keep pointing out the flaws in his hour long video.
