Bolsonaro wins

I figured I'd start this thread in a similar manner to the Swedish one, about a topic of considerable importance this weekend which we all forgot about.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_general_election,_2018
General elections are scheduled to be held in Brazil on 7 October 2018 to elect the President, Vice President and the National Congress. Elections for state Governors and Vice Governors, state Legislative Assemblies and Federal District Legislative Chamber will be held at the same time.

So, who do you think is going to win? Will @AN/ALR56 come back to life and educate us? Polls looks quite good for Bolsonaro as God-Emperor of the southern half of the New World.

The judge who arrested Lula and many members of Worker's Party is going to make part of Bolsonaro's government as a minister and leftists are losing their shit.

I'm not really up on my Brazilian politics, so, Was Lula actually ahead in the polls, or is this after the fact BS?

Electorate graphic. There's actually a reason for this.

Brazil had a Civil War like the USA, but it was the North that had Slave Owners and the South declared a republic and abolished slavery,
Guseppe Garibaldi fought for them. These Slave Owners were so powerful that they overthrew the Monarchy that was praised by people like Nietzsche and threw people who supported it into Concentration Camps because they got rid of Slavery.

After Slavery was abolished these Elites became Coronéis, they keep a stranglehold on politics in the North-East, which is kept poor and Black/Mixed.

I'm sure that Internet SJWs know full well about Brazilian Politics.

So basically Democrats.

I know this is a weird place to ask this on, but do any of you know of a trustworthy network or reliable fact-checking site dealing with Brazilian news?
Because the only sources I'm seeing right now are either Bolsonaro himself or websites which half of this thread has been calling fake news, and neither of these seem like unbiased reviews of his actions.

There's no trustworthy media outlet right now, you have to keep searching for facts and whether they make sense/has some proof of or not, a bit off topic, I said polls here are BS because the whole election is made on e-voting on the most primitive eletronic bailbox that exists and it was introduced after Lula from Worker's party (PT) won the election, the same e-voting scheme was used in other latin-american coutries such as venezuela where Nicolaz Maduro was "democraticly elected" and now venezuela is a dictatorship, you can find some leaked videos on youtube that reinforces a lot of bad facts about PT

I bump this thread by mentionning then Bolsonaro rules out sending back Venezuelan migrants.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/brazils-bolsonaro-rules-sending-back-venezuelan-migrants-185256380.html

Rio de Janeiro (AFP) - President-elect Jair Bolsonaro said Saturday his government would not send back the tens of thousands of Venezuelans who have sought refuge in Brazil from the economic breakdown in their leftist-ruled homeland.

The Venezuelan immigrants "are not merchandise or some product that can be returned," he said after attending a military anniversary ceremony.

His comments followed a suggestion by the governor-elect of the state of Roraima that a "return program" be developed to deal with the influx of migrants that have poured into the poor border state from Venezuela.

Bolsonaro said the Venezuelans "are fleeing a dictatorship supported by the PT, Lula and Dilma, and we can't leave them to their fate."

Bolsonaro, who takes office in January, was referring to former presidents Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff, who had close ties to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his predecessor, the late Hugo Chavez.

"Venezuela cannot be treated as a democratic country," he said.

The United Nations says at least 2.3 million people have fled Venezuela's economic and political crisis since 2015.

Styx posted a vlog about it.

I don't see why it's a "cuck move". Venezuelans tend to hate socialism by heart. Yeah, there are those who brainwashed themselves into thinking it's still possible though, but try asking most of them.

I guess there's the worry that they'll keep coming and maybe eventually influence the next big Brazilian elections and elect more socialists. Like here in the states with the worry that Californians are going to infect surrounding states with their politics and turn them into mini-Californias since most Californians leaving the state will still likely vote Democrat despite the Dems taxing them into oblivion in Cali.
