Pulling Chris out of the special autism school: Bob
Hiring friends for Chris: Bob
Putting Chris on the tugboat after he washed out of his first job: Bob
Blaming all the trolling on those gay Jews at the GAMe PLACe: Bob

I'm no Bob-log, but his fingerprints are all over some of the key bad parenting choices in Chris' life. He was an interesting guy, but not a great parent.

Oh definitely. Don't get me wrong, Bob had his own wrongdoings as a parent with Chris. He certainly played a role in how Chris developed into the person he is today.

But compared to Chris's mother, Bob is father of the year. At least he was actually concerned with Chris's behavior and tried to steer Chris in a different direction in life (failing at accomplishing that though because he went about it the wrong way).

However, he drops the nbomb a few times in the next part according to the cwcki transcript

Are you a god damn fool? The N world does not mean Negro, and to say it does, is downright ignorant. Back in the day the word Negro was the exact same thing as saying the word, "Black person." Using the word Negro was actually a good thing, not a racist thing. The only reason why people dont say the word negro anymore, is because stupid black people complained that the word Negro sounds too close to the word Nigger.

So dont you ever fucking lie like that again man. The N word is not the word Negro. The N word Means, Nigger. For a old man, saying Negro was the opposite of being racist.

Nigger, mother fucking Nigger. Learn some mother fucking facts next time before you post.

Go on the street and call a black person a negro and tell me how it goes.

Only niggers get offended by words, this is coming a faggot.

The more I read about Bob, the more I genuinely believe that if Bob raised Chris on his own without any interference or involvement from Barb, Chris would actually be a somewhat normal human being with some minor flaws here and there. He would actually be a productive member of society who actually found success in his endeavors. I don't see Chris working in medicine or scientific fields like Bob or his half-siblings did, but I could legitimately see a stable version of Chris working as a cartoonist or a comic book writer/artist. He manages to actually create a character that is actually entertaining, unique and people actually like.

Chris could of grew up to be a well respected member of society despite having some obstacles that laid in his path. But that's only if one parent was involved and the other wasn't.

Absolutely. Living with Bob in their apartment in Richmond were easily the happiest, normal and most productive years of Chris's life.

I guarantee Chris is now going to say that Bob's creativity was passed down to himself even tho Chris could only DREAM of being just as successful.
What's heartbreaking is the fact Bob will only live on as "The Internet Lumberjack" instead of the creative engineer he was, im sure he worked hard to get where he got and i can only imagine the feeling of working that hard just to be remembered as the old man who tried to keep his house from getting condemned by his retarded offspring.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, but does anyone know how Bob's musical push cart worked?
I googled musical push carts, and all I got were results of those toys babies push around to learn how to walk that play music. I'm just curious as to how the push cart worked. Was it like a stereo on wheels, or what?

One time I was talking to a black girl, and I wanted to tell her a story about a homosexual black person, and when I said black person, she said, “why you gotta call him black?” And I got really angry at her and yelled at her and said, “if I had said ANY word besides black then you REALLY would think I was racist” and I was flipping out. And I said, “back in the 1950s people said negro but you don’t want me to say that huh??” And finally she had to admit that saying black person is not racist. When you attempt to make men walk on egg shells around people of color, it has the opposite effect eventually and makes white men actually racist for real.

God damn. I’m still pissed as fuck that poster said negro was “the n word” . God damn snowflake.

I'm guessing Bob had an old portable phonograph from the 1930s. Knowing that, Bob probably had some valuable records that were destroyed in the fire. If Chris knew about them, he probably would have sold the records on Ebay to buy MLP toys.

My guess would be that it's just a cart that Bob built to have a phonograph or record player in it. He just inserts a record, it starts playing and is broadcast to everyone as he pushes his cart around.

That's not "dropping the n-bomb." For a guy his age, "negro" was a pretty neutral term. Bob didn't say "them thar niggers sure did know how to play some jazz," even though that would've been pretty funny.

I think Bob's record collection is the most compelling evidence that Bob wasn't a racist, because what kind of racist would collect thousands of old obscure Jazz and Blues albums? And this was when Bob was a young man, way before Ebay, way before Craigslist, etc. Imagine the thousands of hours Bob must have spent going to garage sales and auctions and flea markets and antique shops and pawn shops and estate sales and record shops in the Black part of town looking for this or that particular record.
