Bill Cosby has recently been accused by at least 20 or so women of sexual assault dating back to the late 1960's. Considering the fact that he was probably one of, if not the most famous comedian on the planet 30 years ago, this is the American equivalent of the Jimmy Saville scandal. And the strange thing is, the whole thing came to light from a stand-up routine by Hannibal Buress.

And here's a timeline of how the allegations have progressed: http://www.vulture.com/m/2014/09/timeline-of-the-abuse-charges-against-cosby.html

According to Wikipedia, Quaalude is or was used as a recreational drug, so that's at least theoretically not that far off.
There's a difference between willingly getting high and deliberately being incapacitated for the purpose of being raped. Using this as a defense is like saying it's okay to give someone sherm when they asked you for a joint.

Bill Cosby claimed, that the women took the drugs willingly. I have no idea, whether it's true or not and hope to see the truth on the news about him.

Newly released court papers.

He describes another 18- or 19-year-old woman who visited his home in 2000 to discuss her acting career:

“On a later occasion, you had her masturbate you with lotion, did that ever happen?” Constrand’s lawyer asked.

“Yes,” he said.

“[She] used the lotion to rub your penis and make you ejaculate?” Cosby was asked.

“Bingo,” he replied.

"Bingo".

Sounds like the answer from someone who has no fucks left to give.

That was from back in the civil suit when he was justifiably confident that the whole thing would be settled out of court and he'd get away with it.
Considering his age, he still probably just doesn't give a fuck.

I don't think anyone's old enough that watching what they worked for their entire lives be smashed in front of them, while facing dying in prison, is no big deal to them.

What's sad is that Cosby's entire image marketed to white America was basically "a black guy who won't rape your daughter." This just hurts the black community's image so bad. I mean, he was like a spokesperson for decent black people or something. I may not be wording this right... What I mean is that him *seeming* so nice was good for race relations, and helped to promote good will. :( He was like the first black to be really accepted as a family tv show star by EVERYONE.

I'm still not 100% sure that his actions were legit rape, rather than buyer's remorse on behalf of the women. How can you rape like 20 or 30 people and NO ONE report it until years later, when the forensic evidence is all conveniently gone? I think he may have slept with some of them, yeah- but I'm not sure it was rape.

But dang it, part of my optimism is honestly that I just liked the guy growing up. The denial is real. :'x

ed: So how many of you really think he raped them? :( I'm just curious. I'm still not completely sure what my opinion is even.

Ever since Cosby admitted to buying qualuudes to fuck younger women and just stoping short of admiting he'd use them without their knowledge, I'm pretty convinced he's, in fact, a mass rapist. Some of the women accusing him must be bullshiters, though.

This is hollywood. I believe it, wholeheartedly, that he raped many women. I wouldn't claim the rate to be literally 100%, but almost certainly a very high percentage.

Really, big name celebrities are the ones who physically do the raping. But there is a whole mess of lackeys and kissasses who procure the victims for them, they arrange for everything, and then actively help hush it up after the fact. They probably bought the drugs too.

As Jimmy Savile showed, the rich and powerful can get away with this kind of shit almost indefinitely. They're shielded by the people they make money for, and they tell their victims nobody will believe you. Until you rack up a huge victim count and/or die, you get away with it.

I can't say what I'd rule for each case if I was on a jury, and I have a very low opinion of Janice Dickinson, but these are dozens of women with no connection telling pretty much the same stories over decades.

Cosby likely has a fetish women who're unconscious or otherwise incapacitated in some form. He's had plenty of money and power since the 60s, and assuming he didn't have good connects before his fame, he could easily fill a rolodex with drug hookups with one night in the Playboy Mansion alone. But he's also a big guy, so it was likely easy to drink the skirts he was chasing under the table even earlyon in life.

Bottom line; he needs to be prevented from ever being able to do this again, and his assets ought to be seized and auctioned with the proceeds going to his victims. It's just a shame we'll have to leave most of his just desserts for the afterlife.

Some of this women have been suing Cosby since the 90's, long before the modern day boom of false rape accusations started. I'd be skeptical about any woman jumping on the bandwagon now, but the earlier allegations seem legit.

To be honest this should've been brought up in court ages ago. Why make such grave accusations now?
