Apparently Andrew Klavan's son, Spencer Klavan, is the husband of Joshua Herr, a lawyer or some shit for the Daily Wire.
Nice traditional Christian values there, guys.
To be fair to Klavan, he's never really hidden that his son is gay.
That's true. I still like Klavan and watch DW occasionally.
But it's also still bizzare these big tough traditional value protectorators run with flamboyant homos around them.
That and having a grifting moron like Candace Owens on their paycheck makes DW into a proper American media company. Being plenty full of shit.
I think this is because there are really two different camps in DW: those that are more creative conversatives (Brett Cooper, Andrew Klaven, Spencer Klaven, Jeremy Boreing) and the direct conservatives (Matt Walsh, Michael Knowles, Candace Owens, Benji Shapiro). The latter are boring and dull as fuck. Owens is a rancid bad black nigress bitch, Walsh is a lamecow whose only shtick is to own the troons, Knowles can't even collect his words to make a point, and Shapiro...well, we're discussing him in this thread. I think Ben is lying his ass off when he states that he talks fast because his family talks fast. Abby Shapiro doesn't talk fast at all if you follow her social media. He's probably speaking rapidly because he's been on the news and radio stations a lot doing debates and is accustomed to being times to get his point across. it doesn't make him particularly intelligent.
At least with the former, they're more accepting and empathetic of the LGB because they've been in the realm of creativity and entertainment before they joined DW. Klaven specifically took the route of "I don't accept that he's gay, but I still love him because he's my son."
He's also a novelist, and it's not like conservatives haven't written gay characters in their works. Tom Clancy, for example, wrote an interesting subplot involving Jack Ryan and a gay politician plotting to get Ryan to infiltrate the KGB in
The Cardinal of the Kremlin.
Also didn't know that Spencer was gay until this post came. I didn't know, but I knew he was the linguist for this upcoming
The Pendragon Cycle show DW is doing.
