I’ve dated more than a few women / gone on hookups throughout my uni life and I’m fairly surprised to see the sentiment that “99% of women are submissive and want to get beat up” is still around. Very important to separate BDSM from the "BDSM community".
Your local community is about as real as a renfair and where a lot of theatre kids wind up when they grow into adults. They all think they are all Marquis DeSade or some shit when they are really just retards, autistics, actors and a few edgy assholes.

Fresh meat (women), people they can use, or men to exploit if female run. etc. People don't get together to discuss knitting or international affairs. They are there to get the better of someone. And solve their fucked up interpersonal problems by of course creating more fucked up interpersonal problems with new people. Some are that way due to trauma, some due to hyperactivity/autism/"neurodivergence" etc. I'd rather socialize with Chris Chan and Michael Snyder at the GAMe PLACe, they would have more self awareness.
Now some people are very real dealers of pain, abuse, torment and various hyjinx so not everyone can be written off swiftly as boring and pedantic. But the vast majority can. The interesting people are considered not welcome by communities and ostracized.
False accusations, they are standard. As is BPD and people in therapy that is quite clearly not doing anything for them.
Mainly your local scene gatherings are to recruit newbies to start fucked up relationships with or get them to private parties where they can be isolated in a non-public setting and violated. These things are loaded with booze and various party drugs or pharma drugs known to erase inhibitions.
The coverups for wrong doing by "the scene" are as wrought as any by the Catholic church. It's funny to me because a good amount spills out online and the playbook is so obvious but I suppose scene retards on either side of one can't find the humor in being a retard.

Clearly you haven't roomed with girls like this. The more "aggressive" they are, usually the hardest the like to be slapped around.
