Not just that, he's producer-level, and yet he keeps jumping ships.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Ubisoft Stockholm hasn't shipped shit since it's creation in 2017.

The Scoreboard Update Patch Notes are out, and as expected, it is the very bare minimum.

Reducing the featured modes in Portal, from 5 to 3, is DICE's way of acknowledging the player base fell off like a rock.

My guess is that the F2P of Portal will be 3 modes, a full payment would be 5. I could be wrong though.

Hardline was funner than it had any right to be. My favorite is always going to be BF2 MC, but I enjoyed the change with that.

Harline was really underrated. They were just too greedy and launched it without enough content and the modes stretch too thin. If they wanted fewer weapons, cool, but they needed to offset that with more maps. The new modes were limited to a handful of maps each.

A game like CSGO, or RS6 can work with people playing the same maps over and over again, but this faster pace, less complicated gameplay doesn't work like that.

The Battlefield franchise seems to constantly make the same mistakes over and over again. Launch a game which isn't ready, with out enough content and hope players come back when they start to add more content and fix the game.

Hardline suffered because it was the wrong point in the cycle and people just went back to BF4 which was a much fuller experience and forgot Hardline existed.

Also, why is Battlefield so bad at having an aggressive DLC strategy? They like to claim they do, but then there's a massive drought after launch where people get a bit bored of the incomplete game but there's nothing new to keep them enganged.

Obviously the answer is they leave DLC as an after thought but just pretend it's all planned and ready to go.

And unsurprisingly, most of the DICE devs are now working on the next Battlefield game. It was said that "valuable lessons" have been learned from 2042, but given how that same statement was made in regards to Battlefield V and Battlefront 2, it's a worthless statement. The part where DICE is planning to change the specialists to fit better with the class system in past BF games, is the example that they learned the wrong lessons.

It's like they don't understand that people don't want BF to be a hero shooter.

EA probably knows that, but choose to keep BF a hero shooter, just to cash in on the sweet hero cosmetic MTX.

It took them long enough to disable the Frag Rounds, given how the SPAS-12 Frag was BF3 USAS-12 Frag 2.0.

And we also get the usual minimal effort cosmetics from Prime Gaming this month.

Color me impressed that they're not going to let specialists go, I guess all the backlash didn't make it through their thick skulls.

Why even make a new Battlefield when the series is at its lowest? Just make a new Battlefront that doesn't throw everything from II out.

Battlefront 4(2) is actually fun with friends in the bot co op mode. If they brought back Galactic Conquest, it would have been amazing. From what I hear now MP is basically overran with hackers.

I feel personally attacked. I loved Hardline over 4.
4 is bad I only can play with a full squad now but most of us end up bitching.

Now it wasn’t always bad but BF4 was one of the first games where I grew to hate YouTuber feedback dictating game balance. Levelcap was a TDM only faggot who got C4 nerfed since it was too good in lockers but this made tanks (which were already good) even better since they needed 3 bricks of C4 over 2 now. Also BF4s weapons are complete ass now over one of the final balance patches BF4 got.

while EA was always willing too suck streamer cock, you also gotta blame dice, because apparently having different damage values vs vehicles was to unrealistic to comprehend.

So they made a game so shitty that it's driving people to play their older and more classic titles.

I say that's genius right there, sell more digital copies, hell sell cd copies and rake in the money.
