There's a community movement in Baltimore asking its members not to kill each other for three days. I'm routing for them, Syria has made it five so far.

The campaign is both tragic and hilarious in its advertisements, it's refreshing to see an effort from the black community to put the onus of their problems where it belongs.

I'm glad they gave me enough time to move my gang shooting to the weekend before. Rescheduling would have been tough on such short notice.

"Nobody kill anybody" isn't as catchy as "Don't call anybody". As in "Don't report crimes."

So they watched The Purge and decided reversing it by calling for a window of peace cessation to hostilities will solve their problems.

What's their plan for August 7th?

Better than the #Firechallenge
Burning yourself with alcohol to near death is badass!

What the hell is that gmail contact for? Are people confused how not to kill people for a day and need some pointers?

Too bad some other group already appropriated the "Black Lives Matter" name, because shit like this is what BLM should actually mean.

The weekend has come, let's see if it lasts. The opening of this article is so lol.

Devrone McKnight was driving home from Maryland Shock Trauma on Friday afternoon when he spotted three dozen people on Edmondson Avenue rallying to support a 72-hour ceasefire to violence in Baltimore.

The 23-year-old McKnight said he felt compelled to join the demonstration, given that he had a bullet still lodged in his neck after he was shot Thursday about 10 blocks south of the ceasefire event.

“Somebody pulled up and shot me on my way to work,” said McKnight, still dressed in green hospital scrubs, socks and slippers. “People need to put the guns down and stand up for a cause. It’s crazy.”
