Real life is stressing me out today and video game thoughts keep intruding.
What if Halsin quit being a druid and went off to be a camp counselor instead? And then there were werewolves?
What I'm really asking the universe for is a Baldur's Gate/The Quarry crossover.
I am not well today. lol

I'm so goddamn happy we can knock Minthy out now in act I to recruit her later. The sheep thing was funny to do but was a bit annoying. Now I want to make a beeline for Moonrise to pick her up on the Drow I made the other day haha.

I wonder how they will make this work since she is supposed to take the space at camp for Halsin. The two sharing the space causes all sorts of issues.

Apparently Halsin will give you an ultimatum: Either she goes or he goes. Which, lmao, bye Halsin. I never use him because I tend to use the cooler Druid if I want one in my party. He was literally just Orin bait for me.
 
They've fixed the inventory sharing issue and added an epilogue.
We also get a second chance to stomp Aylin if she gets annoying at camp.

Whatever the devs did, my game still crashes at optimal Video settings. Still gotta play Low everything in Act III Lower City.

Noticed Half-Ilithid status nets you wicked black eyes now, though.
 
The bits of the epilogue that I’ve seen look nice, I’m glad they added this after hearing some disappointment over the suddenness of the ending.

Apparently Tara can’t stand god Gale and hisses at him, and ascended Astarion will turn into a bat to listen in on what the others are talking about. That’s pretty hilarious.
 
Should I do all the side quests first in act 3 before I do the netherbrain quest or can you do that afterwards?

I just got to Baldur's Gate with my first Durge pure evil playthrough. Gonna avoid spoilers but excited to see where it goes.

Crazy how quick they got this out. I was expecting a DOS2 Definitive Edition before we saw anything like this. Larian to make ES6 when?

The epilogue wont let you continue after the ending itself, just have those scenes. Do everything before the final fight.
 
The key to recruiting Minthara without attacking the grove is to knock her out only when she is temporarily hostile. Do not talk to her and trigger the fight, because she will be unrecuitible if she’s fully hostile. Commit a crime in front of her or something.
 
I wonder...if you knock out Minthara and go kill Dror Ragzlin, will that mess things up?
