I'm also curious how it works. But a paladin is definately better than a second druid, though you can respect them.

FYI, completed the game "in Bhaal's name" and got no epilogue.

I guess that makes sense. Still, I would have at least like to see Minthara and my MC sitting on some throne talking about some raid on Neverwinter. All the while, ascended Astarion is standing by.

The throne seems to turn everyone with a tadpole into well, just there under mind control.

If you persuade the Emperor to do it, he sits on the throne and you are reduced.

If you do it, Minthara/Astarion are puppeted, I don't know why.

With the Emperor I could see it as him rather having you as a puppet. That still doesn't explain why he didn't just do it if you didn't ask him to.

I would prefer if it didn't happen too, only to good/hostile companions.

Astarion also has a WTF reaction as if he was totally unaware of what I had planned even though he straight-up acknowledges my PC as Bhaal's chosen and and a rival for stake in Baldur's Gate after the Absolute is dealt with.

We went over as much after Astarion's ascension. He should have known full well my PC was going to take control "in Bhaal's name."
 
Larian has really fleshed out the ending where FrogGirl stays loyal to Vlaakith.

Daisy was scared of the crusading Githyanki military. You convinced him otherwise unfortunately.
 
This is hilarious. Someone made a mod that genderswaps one of the side characters and it's really high effort. AI voice edits to every voice line in the game that references the character and a full replacement of the model. Redditors are getting in a twist because the mod is part of the "No Alphabets" mod pack that thoroughly removes all references to LGBT themes in the game.

The effort put into this mod and the mod pack is really impressive. Every single "her" is changed to a "his" with the help of AI voice cloning along with all subtitles being edited. "Ser Aylin" alone is 100MB with 700 voice lines being altered.


And when I say thorough, I mean thorough.

Is this game worth getting yet? Any more content expected? DLC? Expansions? Good mods in the works?

I usually wait for GOTY on games like this. But I heard it was alright and I remember liking the first one. Should I play the second one?

With the release of this modpack, even the most hardened tranny-hating kiwi can enjoy this game.

This happens with any of the endings where you control the brain I believe. Because you also mind control your comps as well, apparently. You'd think you would allow some or all of them to remain free but whatever.

Downloading this straightaway. Now I can actually save Aylin with a clear conscience.

And, by the way, I love the fact that AI voice is being used this way. It's fucking awesome!

Same website has a mod that turns Wyll white. I'll probably download it for the new hairstyle alone. Can't stand those cornrows.
