I don’t have a problem with stories that show unlearning racism or homophobia or leaving a toxic parent…as long as they’re written well.
It's so hard with these types of stories, because while some people DO have genuinely toxic/abusive parents (because people like that DO breed,) the vast majority of these comics are written by whiners who had normal parents and want to make a problem out of it because they're mentally ill and want attention.
Which is why, when I'm dictator of the United States, every comic artist that makes annoying preachy shit like this is going to be forcibly interred in a camp where they'll be forced to be normal and learn to be grateful, and if they can't be normal or if they relapse into being a preachy annoying fuck, they will be executed by the state. We just keep doing this until morale improves and bam, problem solved.

I am thinking about getting into webcomic reviews as a hobby to make some decent money off of but it's complicated.
So far i have written a total of three reviews of webcomics i found on 4chan. I written them in December and i planned on making more but things got in the way.
I would post a link to them but it's a website with my main, non Kiwi Farms, account and i'm not sure if i should reveal that here.
Basically what i want to do is help bring more attention to webcomics i feel deserve it.
Anyone here think this would be a good idea to go through with? I think the internet could use more positivity, especially in the webcomics circle.

You're "not sure" if you should post potentially identifying information to notorious doxxing site Kiwifarms?

If you're doing it because you genuinely enjoy it go right ahead - the writing will be a reward in of itself, and any money you get will be a nice bonus. If you're primary motivation is monetary gain then don't bother - trying to make decent money off of non-pornographic internet writing is like trying to earn a living scratching lotto tickets.

Ya know, reading this, i was going to agree...

Until i read this part and i realized how untrue it is.
Seriously, while i was on 4chan i noticed a lot of creators who make NSFW comics complain about how their comics barely get any views, and yet despite my reviews being on Pastebin with no financial gain to make they still managed to get more views than what these NSFW comic creators claim they get.
Seriously, one of them goes on ranting about how their comic, that is basically soft core fetish porn, can only get around 3 views a chapter, while my least popular review has 42 hits on Pastebin.

42 hits on Pastebin.

Why does the age of an account matter?
Yes, i tend to write a lot of words, and why not? I like to get out as much information as i can.
And what's wrong with talking about my webcomic related stuff in the webcomic thread?
Also, i didn't even link to anything off site, in fact i said i wouldn't do that. That accusation is a straight up lie.

No nigger, *you're* the liar. You literally wrote this:

Do you really think you're the first person to come up with this idea? You make an account, wait a little bit, then post something tangential to a forum thread in the hopes of feeling out if anyone wants to feed your stupid little e-career. That's assuming you're not hoping to scrape IP addresses and metadata from your visitors. You aint' original and you ain't slick. Should I sell you a $497 influencer course so you get it?

As someone who used to love webcomics, I can tell you the general public does not give a shit about them and has no interest in learning about them. That's why every webcomic reviewer on youtube gave up. Unless you're talking about Chris-Chan, webcomic reviews do very poorly. You're talking about an industry where 20k hits to your website is a good number.

If you want to make reviews because you like making reviews, go for it. But to make money? Nope. The actual webcomics themselves are struggling to make money.

What are you talking about? I make hundreds every month for my webcomic reviews. Its an untapped goldmine unpopulated by "zoomer influencers". Blacks and e-Thots can't read.

I've seen your TikTok revenue and I know you're up there too. Don't try to scare off @MNM just because you are scared of some competition.

Just tell him that he needs to really dedicate himself to the form. Just tell him he needs to do like we did: quit your job just go all in on webcomic reviews for a year or and two and you're certain to come out with a decent income for life.

Is there a comprehensive archive of all the Maybe Tomorrow webcomics? One popped up recently (the one where Skyla is talking to a neo-nazi on skype, there is a freeze frame where the sknihead is about to press N and the punchline is that he is saying, "Nice to meet you too Skyla") and I was wondering if the guy made a site or organized his DA account. The only links I could find were:

the webtoons link (about 8 comics): https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/maybe-tomorrow-/list?title_no=462517

Skyla Tumblr - https://skylacomic.tumblr.com/archive

His X: https://x.com/HellOnEarthIII?t=FJ2MMhybW5853qr67Cox8g&s=09

Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/HellOnEarthIII

I don't know if he removed all the free stuff and it's all paywalled after he started Chemo. I also know he has 2 more webcomics: one about a battle royale with immortal characters and one that's a tribute to the Bully PS2 game. They have their own tumblr sites but they are as disorganized as the Skyla one.

So, did he go full paywall or is there a free link anywhere?
