And they're just using -one- pen size for very small details that would look better if they were just shaded in, with no lines as it's Cel Shading. This is why you do a "with line" and "just shading" layer tests folks, to see which looks better.

But her art kinda reminds me of Thoth's art from Jojo, except Thoth's art is actually enjoyable with all the lines and such.
 
god, his art is a mixture of tom preston's and deeker's. how horrifying.
 
Waaaaait is this the same person who did a "headcanon" drawing of all the Homestuck kids as fat POC (and made Dave like 8 feet fall with vitiligo for some reason) and got super mad when someone said it seemed forced?

I think that was another artist, but their style was similar.

I remember because Dave Strider was a fat black kid with vitigilo.

God, their art isn't just bad, its fascinating in its own disgusting way.

It's like the artistic equivalent of the uncanny valley. There's not much wrong with it on a technical standpoint, but it's just too clean, too calculated. It's devoid of any kind of soul or individuality, and that combined with their often bizarre subject matter makes for something absolutely repellant.

The fandom used to laugh people like this out. I remember when the biggest drama in the fandom centered on flamewars over fan art of Scout being drawn as blond.

Sugar should know. They were around and quite active in those days.

But those days are gone. Times have changed. The sane have moved on, or adapted, or just stopped giving a shit a long time ago.
