That's pretty much accurate since my own thoughts on the ending are that it's just fine to laughing at the Erenfags coping at how MAPPA will totally change the ending (that's their new cope which is even funnier considering that MAPPA is a studio heavily reliant on being faithful to the manga and is a split from Madhouse so it in a way turns the Erenfags into basically the new generation of Light fans who went insane after the second half of Death Note fucked Light over)
 
If MAPPA wants they can drop AOT now and move on to giving us a proper Tokyo Ghoul adaptation.....

I will take the chad Kaneki over brain dead, genocidal, Incel Eren any day.
 
I never read or cared about this manga and after even skimming the plot and reading the ending, I could actually feel a bit perturbed

I'm probably in the minority but I loved the Tokyo Ghoul ending. I don't give a shit what people say, Kaneki earned that ending.

You are not. I loved the ending as well. It is rare for a seinen to give the protagonist a true happy ending. So I enjoyed it.

Plus, like you said. Kaneki sure as fuck earned a happy ending.

I remember AoT was all the rage in my high school, right next to One Piece (for obvious reasons) and Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. It would be funny to know what my old classmates would think about this anime now after the manga ended with what could be the most absurd, shocking thing that not even M. Night Shyamalan could come up with.

The AniTubers who followed the trends of popular anime like AoT, My Hero Academia, Seven Deadly Sins and the Hunter x Hunter reboot are growing a little quiet now if they ever saw the recent manga spoilers.

Just as I turn on my Hulu its advertising season 1 part four of AoT fucking lol. They have to do something about that ending, otherwise literally the entire anime will be about an angry virgin incel who killed his mom and started a world war over being unable to fuck his sister.

Its going to be kind of funny for those guys to try and go back and say "NO GUYS ITS REALLY KINO". I mean, you're dying on a hill where Isayma has Eren explicitly state he killed people because he wanted Mikasa.

Hell yeah! The final arc was kind of a mess, but the ending was earned! And that's the biggest fucking problem with this ending! It's not earned! It's in the same tier as bleach as that is also a story that didn't earn really earn It's ending with a lot of unanswered question. But I will say it's a step above because at least ichigo’s character stayed intact... Good fucking God, imagine the ending being worst than bleach!
 
I have no words for this. None. Though, with Isayama's previous words about Eren seeing Mikasa as only a mother figure I think there's something to be said about autistic incels who want mommy gf because they can't comprehend any other relationships with females.

Most of the Anitubers I’ve seen have either outright ignored spoilers or are waiting for the official translation
 
I didn't think Isayama was one of those kinds of people. I thought Historia taking the throne was just coincidence. God you guys were right, that ending sucked complete ass. I actually unironically liked the last part of the manga up until the last final "bro we gotta kill Eren and save the world" arc and that ending was still ass.
