Attack on Titan was an incredible experience from beginning to end. I loved it more than I thought I would. The action was beautiful, the motivations were fascinating, and the characters were well written. I watched Death Note and expected a shitty ending, but I felt like the ending was very appropiate considering the themes and story laid out before us. It's a fun show, with amazing foreshadowing and twists. I can understand people not liking it, but I loved every episode. Every boring SNCA paid off with the craziest episode possible.
 
I’ll say I liked the 4th season’s OP because as I was half paying attention with the show in the background it made me stop and question if I had put the wrong show on by accident. Then I saw the stone scout people exploding and was assured this was AOT
 
I've said it before, I'll say it again -AoT is the anime equivalent of Sonic the Hedgehog. The fanbase is autistic at best, the writing goes off the rails the second it has to try something beyond the basic premise, and whoever did the soundtrack went significantly harder than they needed to.

It was a series that was in the perfect place when it started, but between the second half just becoming "Alt WW2" and the fact the Final Season took longer to animate than the entire rest of the series (to say nothing of it being split into what, 5 parts?) killed any momentum it had. It'd likely be better remembered if it had ended at them reaching the Ocean...
 
The war hammer titan as a concept and its design was weird but it was still kinda neat

This is completely accurate. AOT was always best when it was, "humanity struggles to survive against the monsters."

When they move on from that and start the genocide arc, it's still pretty good, but I wouldn't have watched it and gotten invested had I known that.

Never let it be forgotten that Mikasa was basically throwing herself at Eren from at least Chapter 50 onwards , and Eren was too dense to pick up on it. I feel like many such occasions have happened on Shonen over the several decades it’s been a thing.

That is a thing period in manga/anime regardless of genre because the main character being with any love interest for a long period of time kills the shipping culture, which is unfortunately quite large and profitable.

Also it’s so funny how so many of these accounts were going on for ages about how: “if it’s canon you have to respect it and if you don’t you deserve to have your whole family raped” and stuff to that extent.
This is beautiful karma for how much they were being annoying fags for their asspull ship.
 
I don't know if it's an Israeli thing but it's really surprising how it's still really popular for normies even after ending.
