I need an animated special dedicated to smuggling that head overseas.

Everything from the way he unsheathes his bow complete with sword noises to the monty python way the titan’s foot stomps on the ground is excellent

Would it have made more sense for them to crossover with a samurai anime?

Ubisoft and making sense being in the same sentence is asking for a lot. And post-ending AoT, with how hard it fell off in relevancy, is probably the best that Ubisoft could afford.

On one hand, even though it hasn’t exactly been relevant in years, Afro Samurai is right there, though considering Yasuke is a protagonist that might be a bit too on the nose…

On the other hand, I don’t want any modern writers even LOOKING at Afro Samurai, so I’m glad they didn’t touch it.

Their mission was actually to exterminate all life within the Walls. And locate the Founding Titan and take it back. But this is a plot hole in that the Attack Titan is missing by this point and his last known location was the ocean shore on Paradis Island. So they would also know that the people in the Walls have most likely two Titan powers and that the Attack Titan has defected since it never returned back home. The Attack Titan has been missing for nearly a decade and they don't seem concerned at all.
The concept about only the royal family having control over the founder is not clear to me, since we are shown King Fritz had 3 daughters with Ymir, and he forced them to eat her and multiply to keep the bloodline going, which means all eldians titan shifters are descendants of ymir, they all have royal blood, so why can only Zeke and the Reiss have access to the founder, it makes no sense.

I know it was too much to expect from modern Ubisoft for a SotC style crossover between a franchise that was mainly about scaling large structures and a series that was all about scaling large humanoid and killing them, but it's still bullshit.

Maybe some kind of dilution of the royal blood?

This should have been a cosmetic pack for $5 with some AOT costumes and weapons. A single half-an-hour mission where the titan only appears for a minute long chase sequance is very half-assed and lazy, especially for 20 dollars.

I’ve seen some cope here and there about the titan looking like shit because “it’s a titan, they were always off putting and weird looking”. There’s a difference between what they say it is, and the reality that it looks worse than the titans in the PS4 game and animated like it’s in GMod.

That would not make sense either, since Dina was stuck in Liberio and her blood was probably mudded as well, but Eren accessed founder power when he touched her.

I call this show "People Standing on Rooftops, Crying and Shouting". Does the viewership for this show skew especially young or something? Because, while entertaining at times and with some admittedly interesting ideas/concepts, I find it insanely mediocre compared to its god-tier online reputation

That Eren became the ultimate incel because of Isayama's microwaved brain from watching too much GoT?

All you need to know that AOT was able to get popular at the same time people were really into dystopia fiction, along with zombie media like The Walking Dead. Right place, right time, and Linked Horizon OPs.

It's one of those shows whose reputation was built on its first story arcs. Then it collapsed into mediocrity and obscurity. Like Lost or Game of Thrones or any other media hit that becomes massive for a few years then becomes invisible unless the series is repeatedly franchised like Star Wars or The Walking Dead. Attack on Titan is almost universally thought to have an awful ending. It's another in the long line of mystery box shows that imploded under the weight of all of its questions and theories.

Attack on titan marley arc should've gotten the promised neverland treatment

13 volumes of manga crammed into 11 episodes
