I just realized a major flaw in my idea for making the ending worse: Most of the Japanese cast can actually sing.

I mentioned in this thread the easiest way to negate Eren's incelness ending would have been for Ymir to reveal to Eren, after she started the Rumbling that there would be a "price" and that price being that Eren would be turned into a mindless beast with no way to undo it. Eren effectively dies activating the Rumbling and the rest of the ending is his mindless Titanized body leading the Titans to Rumbletown and allow the rest of the cast a clearcut kill both to stop the Rumbling and to put the irrevocably mindless Eren out of his misery.

Also, Adult Swim/Toonami is restarting the series from episode one tonight!

What would turning him mindless at that point really change compared to him just committing to wiping out the other nations? Whether he's wiping them out mindlessly or with conscious intent the result would still be remarkably similar, it's just more boring to have a mindless character (see Calamity Ganon from BotW).

The only thing that needs to change are the gay twists, they weren't good and nobody likes them regardless of if they want Eren to succeed or not. It adds nothing for it to turn out that he's essentially suiciding to appease Ymir, just let him succeed or fail.

It's honestly really sad since he's a really great VA

But in regards to Attack on Titan, Niccolo was probably one of the few new characters added after the timeskip that was actually good and it helped that the VA really made the character sound very believable especially in both Japanese and English.

I agree.

I might not like Niccolo, and think his sudden pairing with Sasha was just fucking weird, but Kametz's acting was good enough to make him more than tolerable. Just goes to show important voicing acting is when it comes to characters.

Reminder that the plan for AOE is supposed to go something like this. Keep in mind, I could be wrong about a few of these details because they change all the time, and the overall way these things are actually supposed to happen differ from person to person, but the overall gist of it seems to be this.

There are some nuances like how there's a manga timeline, a timeline for the school castes spin-off, and an anime timeline which is the "correct" timeline.

Also you forgot the 400 lectures of MUH FREEDOM
