How will Eren be stopped?

A thought occurs. It seems unlikely, but is it possible that the anime simply ends at chapter 130? I believe that is where we see Eren's point of view for some of the rumbling. Would an anticlimax like that be worse than it simply ending like the manga?

As far as not wanting to give the series anymore money, might it not be worth it to see fans' reactions in-person?
Movie ending is a good bet. Demon Slayer basically broke the ceiling and made it acceptable for movies to be more than just irrelevant spin-offs, and now JJK is also getting a movie for its one-shot pilot/prequel.

Although being an old fart here I would almost love to see AoT fans get the "you want ending, FU go buy the manga for ending" treatment. But with the manga readily available it just doesn't carry the same weight to series where the mangas simply aren't available in any format. Leaving the anime series and OVAs with a permanent cliffhanger nonending.

Off-topic, but considering how today's episode featured Hange's "Genocide is wrong!" line, I still really hate how every pro-genocide supporter in this fandom never seems to take into account how the Rumbling would completely fuck over the environment and doom the Paradisers anyway.

"Sometimes the right choice isn't the moral one. Facts don't care about your feelings, sweaty!"

Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that Eren ushering in a new Ice Age upon an already struggling, technologically behind, agrarian society would be a complete fucking disaster.

Seriously, why does no one ever talk about this? It's pretty obvious, and feels like they're just ignoring the elephant in the room.

Because they ignore that and think Eren will have some super secret plan to just make the remaining Eldians immune to environemental consequences somehow like in one of the shit ton of fan manga endings (This one is called Ouroboros, one of like the three main fan-manga endings)

But seriously they ignore that the Rumbling will only cause Civil War (which was addressed in universe yet fanboys ignore this because "EREN CHAD!"), environmental damage, and deprive the world of many resources.

It's honestly kinda funny how these same people like to say stuff like "Cringevengers" but act like the unironic morons that thought Thanos did nothing wrong, believing there are no actual drawbacks to mass exterminations

That's actually an interesting thought. A few days ago I read an article that suggest anime production committees are going to shift from original theatrical film and instead shift to IP adaptation movies because of the success of KnY and JJK movies

I find that the easiest way to enjoy Attack on Titan is to pretend it ended at the Basement at the absolute latest. Sorta like how Death Note ended when L died, there was no time skip Part 2, Fuck Off. Would it leave some plot threads unresolved, yeah, but the series was at least good/consistent up until then.

Nowadays, it's almost the Sonic of Anime - the writing is the shits, the fans are some of the most autistic fucks out there, and the music is honestly too good for the series.

I hear you, man.

It's just like how Code Geass ended on that awesome cliffhanger at the end of the first season. Yeah, it left a lot of things unresolved, and was a little chaotic, but damn if that wasn't one of the intense ending I've ever seen.

Giving it another season would've probably ruined it.

"What was in Grisha's Basement?"
"FLUFFY NEWBORN KITTENS."
"How does that help against the Titans?"
"The Titans had allergies to cats and died of brain Hemorrhages from Sneezing too much."

AND EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER WITH THEIR ADOPTED KITTENS.

I’d be cool with the ending being the ocean, but seeing as we’re around the same time, can’t complain too much.

Not only that, but since cats are scientifically proven to help with depression, everyone got over their crippling trauma, and PTSD! It was almost like nothing bad had ever happened at all!

THE END.

AOT fans when they only have random background characters to care about

I like how Daz and Samuel are suddenly super important characters to care about when literally their only contributions to the series was staying behind to fight after listening to Pixis' speech and being a part of the "Marco is secretly alive, and a bad guy" theory.

Speaking of which, you ever notice how they never mention Marco? They'll shit on Annie for killing Levi's squad, but never say anything about her participation in his death. Jean even mentions Marco in this arc, and Annie's part in his death, and yet these guys never seem to bring it up for some reason.

They never do because Reiner was more responsible for it, and Reiner somehow gets a free pass. Annie however gets all the shit because she didn't have some suicidal epiphany along with her motives being more selfish..

In short, the same energy when cartoon reviewers piss and moan about bullies.

Doublepost but the latest episode has the funniest reactions ever. Basically people are crying that an action anime is having cool action because fictional "patriots" are dying and Mikasa is a super villain. Let's hope these crybabies never watch an action movie

Eren: *literally genocides the entire world, wipes out millions upon millions of both plant, and animal species, utterly destroys countless cultures, histories, and technological advancements, and causes enough environmental damage to usher in the actual end of the world*

These Fags: I sleep.

Mikasa: *kills some batshit insane crazy cultists who support the above, and have already killed a bunch of innocent people only because she wants to stop the above*

These Fags: REAL SHIT
