Yeah, she's not wrong then.

Like I said, EreHisu shippers got btfo so hard that they refuse to accept what's happened and have been making theories about how there's going to be an anime only ending that will totally make their ship canon, and some of them even believe that the most popular fanfic about it called Attack on Titan no Requiem, (AnR), is actually going to be that exact ending.

Keep in mind that AnR is literally only two chapters long, and all that's happened in it so far is just Eren and Historia getting secretly married, and then fucking in the woods while Floch watches.

That's the level of delusion we're dealing with here.

Also, how fucking retarded is it for them to want to end shit on a movie and have the actual series end on a cliffhanger? I mean, isn't that a tacit admission that they know AOT isn't going to become an evergreen show in term of selling on DVD in the years to come?
 
I hate praising reddit, but it's great seeing r/titanfolk trash the atrocious worldbuilding Isayama has done after the basement. Like AOT is a cautionary tale of how when you make your story's world bigger, you better actually fucking develop the world especially when the conflict becomes a global conflict.

Every day I become more and more thankful for the final season of Game of Thrones having only six episodes. I mean, if you're going to fuck up the ending to your massively popular story, at least do it quickly.

This might be unironically true. AoT isn't Mappa's project, they're literally getting WIT's sloppy seconds. I doubt they're sending their best to work on AoT when they have JJK and Chainsawman.

A thought occurs. It seems unlikely, but is it possible that the anime simply ends at chapter 130? I believe that is where we see Eren's point of view for some of the rumbling. Would an anticlimax like that be worse than it simply ending like the manga?

As far as not wanting to give the series anymore money, might it not be worth it to see fans' reactions in-person?

Seeing as 130 is the start of Eren’s final attack, and he has his “have kids” talk with Historia in that same chapter, I’d say that you could end the anime at that point, and then do a movie for a finale, and then it becomes how faithfully you wanna do the end of the manga, and what kind of ending you wanna finish on.

Well if in the unlikely scenario that the anime stops at 130 and there is no further stuff adapted.

It actually would be worse because a bunch of schizo retards will scream about how Isayama delivered AOE and kino, while jerking themselves off that they are right. Them continuing to be faithful would be better because seeing delusional fanboys melt down when they are for sure an Anime Original Ending would happen after seeing birds and a black scarf.
 
I'm 4 episodes behind now and I just... can't get myself to catch up. Which sucks because in the earlier years I was always so excited for the next episode/next chapter of the manga. I haven't even read the last few chapters of the manga because I saw the leaks and couldn't bring myself to read what happened lmao. I had such high hopes.
