That's the funny part! They're so pants shitting racist that you can't help, but laugh. Anyone who says that this is a realistic story on prejudice is an absolute idiot! Look at Nazi Germany! Only about 30% percent of the population actually voted for the Nazis, but who's to say much of the voters were honest racists? When your totalitarian system threatens your life and your family into subscribing their inane ideals, you might as well follow through. That didn't mean there weren't people who actively resisted the Nazis.

Isayama could've done something like that. Have a White Roses calling for peace among the Marleyans. Have something like the Valkyrie attempt a coup on the Marlayan government. Have the average Marlayan, who are likely marginalized by their government, to doubt their superiors' motives; at least attempt a way to see through the scapegoat. Just have Marlayans who simply don't want to fight in a war of annihilation. Whatever the case, show some dimension to the Marlayans.

Again, Isayama just sucks at Nazis.

Oh yeah that’s definitely a major issue with the timeskip is how retarded Isayama’s portrayal of racism is. The Declaration of War scene is probably the best example of it where every world leader apparently thinks that attacking the only country in the world that has the equivalent of nukes is a good idea. It gets even worse when in that same scene where the second most retarded character mentioned the truth about King Cuck the entire crowd reconsidered that maybe the island isn’t a threat before getting racist again because King Retard talks about how Eren is super evil.

The thing with the story is that there are some sympathetic Marleyans but literally all of them are people in the military and had to be friends with certain Eldians in the story. Isayama never shows any normal citizens who aren’t in the military distrust their government so every random civilian is a racist retard as well.

Then again this is the same story where a former Hitler Youth pretty much highlights why Eren’s plan is retarded and why it’s hard to view him as sympathetic

Isayama clearly was aware of people who said Eren could’ve just destroyed every other countries military and resources along with turning all the island titans back to normal but he just went with what he did anyway. So Isayama is either shit at addressing criticism or doesn’t care because the story at that point was his elaborate shitpost to somehow get his onsen.

Destroying the militaries wouldn't work as they are replacable. Destroying resources and infrastructure is going to kill a rather large number of the civilian population by starvation and disease. Without the titans, the non-Eldians will in time recover, and rebuild. Getting ROFLSTOMP twice to the point extinction is a very possibility, will make the non-Eldians proceed to make sure there won't be a third time Eldians tried to genocide the human species.

Any changes in the time-line and PATHS to prevent either side being being genocided have to be done hell of lot earlier before the Eren decides the rumbling is the best answer.
Like for example adult Eren using the PATHS to go back and stopping the people who killed Mikasa's parents before they get to her house. Ensuring Mikasa wouldn't be family-zoned by kid Eren and Mikasa lived some distance away from the Jeagers preventing her from being easily friend-zoned as well.

I'm in no way allowed to judge, I'm someone who'll defend the Sonic the Hedgehog music - for how mediocre to downright shit those games get, they always have great soundtracks

Also I've been listening to the LittleVMills cover more, but he's also Canadian so I'm obligated to like him - the fact he's actually good is a nice bonus

I hope they keep Zeke's plan of trying to convince Eren their race should go extinct just because their dad was a bad father only for it backfire completely by showing him to be a good father to Eren.

That, and for that hug with Grisha to still happen even though it makes no fucking sense.

What the fuck was Zekes issue anyway? I've recently read the entire manga and even now I think Zekes plan to turn all the Eldians into eunuchs was kinda dumb. Like, you have literal GODLIKE power and you use it to make it so folks can't fuck? Why not make it so the Eldians don't turn into titans, but instead some super strong motherfuckers who can't die to bullets/titans/explosives? Ymir can do anything to Eldian bodies, so why not make them mini-Tyrants?

I disagree slightly. There's a difference between hating Jews and whatever, to hating people who can literally at any moment transform into giant monsters that can't be reasoned with and will literally eat you. Honestly, I can't say I would like to live in an Eldian neighborhood either.

But yeah, I agree Marley is dumb but for other reasons. "Yeah, let's treat a huge part of our population that have the potential to transform into giant monsters like shit. Surely nothing will go terribly wrong and we all won't die."

It's because Zeke is blinded by nihilism and thinks that making the entire race r/childfree is the best way even if it's stupid.

Honestly Attack on Titan's entire worldbuilding is dumb by having the Founding Titan do literally anything because the entire conflict in the series could've been prevented if King Cuck decided to just take away people's titan powers instead of fleeing with millions of people to Not!Madagascar and making some walls.

I have no idea. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's ever even specified how he'd make his plan work. We don't know if he'd just castrate everyone, or just make them all infertile. Not to mention he calls it a "euthanasia" plan when it's really a sterilization plan. That just made it stupider and even less likely for Eren to be onboard with it.

Honestly, Zeke going from a decently smart, interesting villain to a stupid, whiny, daddy-issues, self-loathing cuck is one of the strangest, and funniest things to happen in the series.

Imagine going from one of the most mysterious and dangerous threats in the series to a sniveling little shit crying in the sand because you think your race should go extinct because your daddy was mean to you.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. You can like it or hate but the story up until the 130s kind of made sense. Isayama was just too retarded to go with the obvious nihilistic ending he had planned. Eren should've killed all his friends and the series should have ended with him realizing everything he did was a mistake. Mist style ending was the best way to go.

Basically he wanted to do an advanced version of King Cuck's plan to take away the Eldian's ability to breed and then commit a partial rumbling (aka destroying military shit) so Eldians can live in peace for the rest of their lives and let them all live their remaining days in peace. Basically just give temporary safety so they can have time to live out their lives to die

Basically he did all that because of the really over the top racism of the world caused him to think that no Eldian should live in a world that hates them which is also shaped by being a self-loathing Eldian like everyone else and his other father figure whose wife killed herself and her kids after finding out he was Eldian.

tl;dr Wanted to make his race die out in response to how the entire world hates them (Really this plan only makes sense with how much of the world is controlled by racist brain parasites)
 
OG Twilight Zone done the Mist style endings before King did, done them better and weren't predictable AF.

Edit: Instead of neutering the Eldians Eren could have made them no longer have Eldian children but instead have non-Eldian human children. Which the Eldians will still technically go extinct but the bloodlines still continue.
Alternatively or concurrently Eren using his godlike powers to turn all non-Eldians into Eldians and so now anybody could turn into a titan.

Yeah that was Frank Darabont who changed the ending of the original King story to make it more tragic. Isayama's original ending plan was to actually take "inspiration" from the original story's ambiguous ending but he changed it due to the anime's popularity.
