But yea, weens will keep living rent free in their minds thinking modern anime is "le superior" to western animation, which they dub as kids cartoons, when shows like Simpsons and Family Guy and all these other shows they copied are literally no different from the new tranime people keep consooming, making themselves as absolute hypocrites.

It is autism shipper fagshit. The same that picks two characters that hates each other and shippers will make it lovers.

Now in shingeki, there isnt much romance between characters, most of it are comedic in tone. So they will pick any crumbs and build their narrative on it.

The funniest part is that the two most developed (ie; had the most scenes with the most actual genuine romance) pairings are a F/F one where the one chick goes from a strong, badass ruler to a spineless baby factory abetting global genocide while the other one just straight-up randomly dies off-screen, and the other pairing is a M/F one that only becomes canon after the series ends, and not before the girl made out with some other guy's severed head first.

Romance has never been AoT's strongest suit.

I guess I don't remember him threatening her, but as I recall she was pumping out kids to inherit Titans or something to protect Paradis. As ruler, why would she even have to be coerced into that? You'd think she'd do so willingly instead of needing to be threatened into doing so.

My memory paints her as wanting to help, but I could easily be forgetting all the convoluted shit that went down.

He's not threatening her into having children. He's threatening her into not telling anyone about his plan, or stopping him, and he specifically does that by threatening to wipe her memory.

Yes, but it's also implied he'll just do it anyways if she tries to stop him, or tell anyone. The entire scene is a shitshow, and really makes me wonder how anyone could've possibly ship these two together after it.

Probably because she opposed her father in favor of Eren. I never got any kind of romantic vibes off them at all, just friendship and mutual respect, unless I'm missing something.
 
It's Kenny's birthday today!

Let's all remember that despite being based on Trevor from GTA V, and being added to the story less than three months after he was created, he's still somehow one the best characters, and the smartest Ackerman we see on-screen for any meaningful amount of time.
