I mean, didn’t Bleach start out basically as “Kubo just wanted to draw cool shit”, or am I mixing it up with another series?Much like Tite Kubo, I don't think Isayama had shit planned. It really shows.

Couldn't tell you.I mean, didn’t Bleach start out basically as “Kubo just wanted to draw cool shit”, or am I mixing it up with another series?
Yeah, but with TLOU you can pretend the second game doesn’t exist. Just like you can pretend the Disney SW trilogy doesn’t exist. The original already tells its own self contained story, some hack fraud’s officially-funded fan-fiction can’t take away your enjoyment of the original.Strange way to say that one trash is better than the other:

To his credit, at least AoT was an entertaining mess
I mean AOT may be schlock but he’s right since the Last of Us games are trash in comparison.Strange way to say that one trash is better than the other:

To be fair, I think FMA is the gold standard of anime. Or at least is one of them. So comparing the two is kind of unfair.I mean AOT may be schlock but he’s right since the Last of Us games are trash in comparison.
Even then there are better stories that handle AOT themes much better like how the Fullmetal Alchemist series handles the themes of war, cycle of violence/hate, and discrimination better than AOT.
FMA isn’t my favorite anime (it’s nowhere close), but I’d be hard-pressed to name another anime/manga that is as well-rounded and maintains a consistent quality throughout. To be fair, I think FMA is the gold standard of anime. Or at least is one of them. So comparing the two is kind of unfair.
Not really, considering it's a gold standard mostly to normies who are also hyping up AOT to the same level of hype..To be fair, I think FMA is the gold standard of anime. Or at least is one of them. So comparing the two is kind of unfair.
Not even Cowboy Bebop or Legend of The Galactic Heroes? Not really, considering it's a gold standard mostly to normies who are also hyping up AOT to the same level of hype..
Like FMA is really great but there's not really a gold standard to anime at all.
Not really because it's stupid to find one thing that represents the gold standard since everyone's standards are different and anime is just a medium that has a lot of variation. I don't think that needs to be explained. Not even Cowboy Bebop or Legend of The Galactic Heroes?
Just by writing this post you’ve already put more thought into the plot than Iseyama. Don’t bother wasting more of your time, there’s nothing deeper to find here.Part of the problem is Eren's ability is not clearly defined in terms of scope. It also seems like Eren views time differently than he did before, so he may have paradoxically been both a victim and his own victimizer.
To me, the only way it makes sense is he has limited control and felt he had to do whatever it took to arrive at a position where Mikasa kills him and satisfies Ymir. If that means killing his own mom and making Mikasa hate him, jeopardizing his friends, and Paradis, so be it.
What's never explained at all and what still bothers me the most about Eren's motives is why he at all gives a shit about her. Was he under he influence? Upon my multiple rewatching/re-readings that's the only explanation I can think of. There's a scene where they're creepily standing together which seems to imply that may be the case.
This part is just speculation, but if she did influence him, maybe he's never truly been free from the beginning. Maybe that's where his desire to eradicate the world really comes from.
IIRC Kubo thought he had 30 chapters to end the story but Jump out of the blue gave him 3.The end of Bleach was maybe the most rushed, incoherent thing ever. I didn't even know what the hell was going on, and worst of all, it was boring.
I knew it was rushed, but damn lmaoIIRC Kubo thought he had 30 chapters to end the story but Jump out of the blue gave him 3.
Half of Behop was repetitiously tedious to me to watch although the other half being the stand alone episodes were boss. LotGH for all of the weeb hype, is utterly atrocious with the combat and total lack of any tactics or strategy other than throwing blobs of ships at each other. Everything else LotGH does very well. Not even Cowboy Bebop or Legend of The Galactic Heroes?
Its crazy what that nigga had to do to wrap up the story. Askin fight ends super quick with Urahara's bankai and then its a final boss speedrun against Yhwach. That shit is barely readable with the amount of new plot points getting introduced every panel. Ichigo gaining a new Bankai and losing it the next page still makes me laugh my ass out. Hoping the anime does something to try and fix that up, Thousand Year Blood War was my favorite arc and while Bleach's story as a whole is fucking terrible it can be pretty fun.I knew it was rushed, but damn lmao
