So, I just beat the game, and...honestly, I can say that I don't regret my purchase. I haven't bought the DLCs, but I hope they either wrap up the game's story, or this game gets a sequel.

They're working on one more DLC (Trapped In Limbo) to be released this February, but that's as far as I know.

Bought the game myself during the Winter sale, and honestly, they could have arranged the proving grounds upgrades a little better. That you get the Zvezdochka's Saw Dance early on means that every other melee cannot compare.

Still a nice romp, and it introduced me to some bangers from the OST.

A bit of an unpopular opinion, I preferred if the game didn't have the DLC as the endings suited the game's story, you either kill your ai buddy and you end up in limbo or you let your ai kill you and Sechenov. The DLCs ruined it by hinting of the former. Makes it boring to be honest, I mean whats the point of having a 2nd ending if the DLC only focuses on one.

The DLCs are based on the endings. Annihilation Instinct follows Ending 1 while Trapped in Limbo will follow Ending 2. There probably is no canon ending until Mundfish says so.

What? Can you show us?
I guess he means these?

Looks like the color scheme for the new DLC's keyart is blue & pink and they have two nerds as their Community Managers.

I wonder what is the story premise of the DLC, is it like Asura's Wrath where the true ending is locked in this DLC or is it another Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea moment?

Also, for God's sake remove Denuvo already. Its already 2 years since the game's release.

From what I got, the DLC picks up right after the Limbo one and seems shit has gone REALLY bad.

So Trapped in Limbo Part 2. The trailer also mentioned CHARles' genocidal plan so kind of a dead ringer for that question.

Bought it because it reminded me of Fallout but then got disgusted by all the Communist stuff and stopped playing it.

But that... that's the whole setting. It's set in an alternate reality where the USSR developed some crazy shit to come out ahead and not collapse. I was going to say I was surprised that someone would buy a game without making the slightest bit of research, but then I looked it up on Steam and not even the store page seems to mention the setting. Weird.

I liked Atomic Heart when it came out, wasn't aware that it had DLC. I should probably check those out.

The retro futuristic stuff reminded me of Fallout which pushed me to buy it but eventually all the communist stuff made me change my mind. I thought I could tolerate it but I couldn't.

That's fair. I personally thought it was a cool setting to explore, a bit of a detour from the usual.
