It's incredibly cringe not only to see "6-10 gorillion" being quoted unironically, but also this pervasive notion that the Holodomor was somehow directed exclusively at Ukrainians, and was some sort of extermination campaign against Ukrainians specifically as opposed to just a dumbass Communist "kill all the sparrows" type fuckup where they just demanded way too much production from the grain-producing regions of the USSR (among which Ukraine happened to be, but wasn't limited to, as many other regions also experienced similar famines and deaths in the millions).

The idea that the Holodomor was a specific "eradicate the Ukrainians" is just as preposterous as if/when modern day Jews that claim the Holocaust was exclusively about killing all the Jews and nobody else, when in reality the amount of non-Jewish Soviet civilians killed in the Holocaust was virtually the same as the amount of Jews killed, and that's not counting the 3 million Soviet POWs, the 3 million non-Jewish Poles, etc and so on.

But you will never catch this butthurt Ukrop faggot posting anything about how the Nazis killed 3 million Ukrainians as part of the Holocaust. They were the wrong kind of Ukrainian, obviously. Probably dirty Soviet collaborationists!

God this shit pisses me off.

From my experience, there are 3 types who love shrilling about the Holodomor shit: Western Ukrainians (ironically the place which had the most hardcore Nazi support during WW2, and after it, a good chunk of Nazi-supporting Ukrainians ran for West Berlin/America or stayed with remaining Nazis and were busy murdering their own people), Russian libtards and Yank conservatives.
 
Western Ukraine had nazis and neonazis specifically because it was hit harder by the Holodomor. Made them real eager to jump ship to Adolf's Wild Ride. Does feel mega retarded to bring it up on the context of this game. It's especially bad because the game is set on a alternate history where the Holodomor probably didn't even happen given what we know of the timeline of the thing.

Here's the bigger irony factor, Western Ukraine used to belong to Poland (something they haven't let go of even today and frankly I won't be shocked if they see this conflict as an opportunity to reclaim those lands) and only became part of Ukraine thanks to Stalin who wanted to give Ukraine more land. Also, even without the Holodomor, Ukraine did buy into Adolf's crazy shit about Jews and Slavs being the Untermenschen.

Just one off topic politisperg: that won't happen. Both the Polish government and Poles are completely buck broken on the Ukraine issue and if anything they would give their land to Ukraine as an "act of solidarity" if Zelensky asked for it. Poles refuse to stand up for their own interests and are willing to completely fuck their own country over if it means they'll get to rim Ukraine's asshole, and I don't know what has to happen to turn that around.

When Zelensky's air defense killed two Polish civvies in Poland by accident in Przewodów, everyone cried it was Russia because Zelensky said so. And when it turned out it was Ukraine, and Zelensky didn't apologize for it, everyone forgot it ever happened and they still glorify Zelensky. Only a few people saw it as a wake-up call that Ukraine and Ukrainians does not give a single solitary fuck about us, the rest called off people like this as "Russian trolls" because they dared to speak negatively about Ukraine.

Anyway, let's get back to talking about people freaking out about the Russian game.

Also the voice acting seems a bit better than in that other extended gameplay trailer. Maybe because this is a shorter one, or maybe because it is a scripted sequence instead of the protag just throwing off recorded one liners during the battle.
