Asexual: adj. Little to no sexual attraction to anyone and/or no desire to participate in sexual activity.

That's all it means. Asexual people are still going to be straight/gay/bi in their preferences, but they just don't do the sex part.

LACK OF A SEX DRIVE IS NOT A FUCKING "SEXUAL ORIENTATION" yet pants-on-head-retarded hipster morons are trying to make everyone think it is. Because they're attention-seeking faggots trying to climb the oppression pole.

If 'asexual' is being used to refer to people who don't want a sexual relationship, then:

i. We need a new word for it.
ii. It shouldn't be regarded as a psychological condition, except in cases where people are genuinely terrified of intimacy. Simply choosing to go without a partner for a period of time is something different entirely.

The word 'asexual' should clearly refer to people who don't have a sex drive at all; a condition which I'm sure exists only in people with severe hormonal problems, mental diasabilities and the like. All the legbeards and lentilmen who identify as 'asexual' are sexually frustrated liars who want Chad to blast their anus while whispering "Donald Trump" in their ear.

This depends on the purpose of the question.
"Should lack of a sex drive have commonsense nondiscrimination protections (e.g. no forcible genital exams)?" Yes.
"Should people with no sex drive march in gay prides?" No, gay prides shouldn't exist.
"Ok, but given that gay prides exist, should people with no sex drive march in them?" No, they have no common cause with pedophiles.
"Given that DEI exists, should lack of a sex drive be covered by it?" Go ahead and try; if you manage to get rid of public porn, you will have my thanks.

It's like "is atheism a religion"? Should you be able to run for President? Yes. Should you be able, once elected, to get sworn in on a copy of Attack on Titan Vol. 1, because "lololol it's all equally made up skydaddy bullshit"? No.

Yes. As much as I hate "people-first language", "people with no sex drive" would suit much better exactly because they don't have a positive unifying characteristic in common.

...god fucking damn it. Please don't advocate debanking for the unraped.

What rights do people who don't have sex not have? What legal recognition do you need for being a perma virgin?
Some gynaecologists / insurers won't provide adequate medical care to a female virgin.
There are jurisdictions which require a marriage to be "consummated" and outright say it's a sham if the parties had no intention to fuck.
There are jurisdictions that offer assisted reproduction to sick (thus their need for assisted reproduction) heterosexuals but not to otherwise healthy people with no sex drive.

I'm not saying people with no sex drive should have these rights, but they do have a common interest in getting in on the grift.

Who the fuck are you in danger from?
Apparently from @DDR Yoga, lol.

I can only assume, as a non pussy haver, that to be a very small minority of OBGYNs/insurers. After all, if I'm not mistaken, even young girls have to have gynecological visits. And that's not including those who choose to stay virginal/abstinent for religious reasons. You'd be opening yourself to malpractice/discrimination actions real quick. But, again, I do not have a pussy. So I don't know.

In terms of identity, almost all self-identified internet asexuals have unresolved trauma, are on meds (birth control, SSRIs), are mistaking a low libido/reactive sexuality for a lack of sexuality, or all of the above.

Theoretically someone could be born completely healthy, go through puberty, and still have no libido, but in that case I'd actually be worried and get some tests done to make sure everything is in order.

I will say though, that sex drive seems to be correlated with a will to live, finding enjoyment in life, ambition, etc. It's so important that most people won't even take necessary medication if it kills their libido, because it turns them into a zombie.

Imagine all of that importance getting twisted into a pathology that makes you compelled to get actual shit on your penis.

I felt exactly how asexuals describe when I was on accutane and had severe anhedonia. Asexuality is a failure of the healthcare system to detect serious hormonal issues in already mentally messed up people.

I randomly remembered that this thread exists.

Had forgotten what an absolute queen JKR is.

Speak of the devil, I was cleaning my pc when i found this old photo i had lying around of daveb aka granny tranny powermod of asexuality.org. A totally not gay asexual who likes to cum in his mom's dresses and cuddle women non sexually, whose entire sad existence at this point revolves around that forum.

Without filters, makeup and blurry pic he looks like any other elderly british faggot. Why do I have a picture of him? Idk, this was years ago. Shame I didn't save that one where he dressed up as a purple witch for halloween or christmas or whatever a few years back, would've made a terrific KF pfp.

What a punchable face.

Every single time I see someone claim to be asexual or demisexual or whatever the fuck new trendy term exists, they're overly sexualized, think constantly about sex, and generally have to bring up sex (or "disinterest therein") constantly. It's never the fat ugly dude you'd think an incel. That is to say, it's always women. Women who read BL and other such fujo material.

In general it's kinda funny how much of all this lgbtq shit is female centric. I can find a male-presenting avatar/OC/pfp/whatever, and if they mention any other pronoun but he/him, they're born with a womb. "I'm a real gay himbo 4 faggot dick!!... he/them".

No, plenty of people aren’t really interested in casual sex (obv women but way more men than you think ime) but genuinely 0 interest in sex is legit a symptom of schizoid and similar disorders.

Asexuality is yet another victim to the overblown identity politics that the LGBTQ community has devolved itself into. It needlessly has about 20 some odd terms and they're all just technical slants to describe particular asexual traits.

- Can find porn gratifying but doesn't desire sex
- Jerks off, still doesn't want sex
- Is a fetishist, but doesn't want intercourse

Some few examples. It's annoying.
