Articles & Happenings is the third attempt at a news board on the Kiwi Farms. It is a cursed place. Every moderator who has been assigned here has resigned within a year. During 2016, the political crossfire was so bad it spread to different boards and culminated in me banning American news discussion entirely for several months. It has been deleted in its entirety twice. There is no actual discussion here, it's people posting garbage. It leans much further right than the rest of the site and doesn't particularly conduct discussion because dissenting opinions are dogpiled by a thousand memelords posting shit they read on /pol/ without any critical analysis.

The only rules that can be enforced are empirical ones with boolean violation answers. New threads must cite a real source directly and must use the headline of the article as a thread title without any editorializing. Articles must be archived in some way and must link to the original article. Replies that are one word or a reaction images are automatic one-month bans from the board.

I'm creating this now because it seems like this place is here to stay and is one of the largest areas of the entire site. I might as well throw in bare minimum effort to improve it. I don't even try to find mods for here because they will quit, without exception. I've added new prefixes ("Business" and "Crime") just now.

Because people had a habit of quoting the entire OP, from what I was told. I'm not sure why that was a problem, but I'd assume it would be in instances wherein the OP is a million miles long.

Actually @Freya has a point.

One of Tramp's biggest problems is the amount of submission he has when it comes to Israel. He criticizes any other country for their bullshit, yet Israel, a literal Jewish ethnostate, is this one shrine that can't be criticized or whatnot. He really wants to get votes from Jews especially through him wiping out the speech of any criticism of Israel on college campuses and him LITERALLY NAMING THE JEW to protect them from civil rights. I mean, does no one really pay attention to this? I'm not "muh Joos" or anything, but doesn't that seem really weird for him to be this fucking friendly to a country like that? This goes the same for someone like Reagan when it came to his relationship with Iran and Afghanistan. That's weird.

It would be nice if people who refused to suck trump's dick didn't get dogpiled. It would be even better if mods didn't selectively delete posts they didn't like with the excuse that its "sperging"

Do u want a place where people can discuss things genuinely or do u want a hugbox

I sort of agree with this. It should at least be consistent. Why is sperging out about the jews treated differently from sperging about muslims, black people, women, etc? It just seems a little odd to delete the one, and not the others.

You think that those aren't deleted, too? I delete more "Fuck niggers" posts than any other type of post on the Farms. If you see one, just report it. We can't comb through every single post in every single thread. It also largely depends on context. Sometimes they're funny.

Well I'm further convinced that a lot of the jew-spergery is just coming from people looking to be the resident contrarian than /pol/ refugees.

More insightful than the pol copypaste i see all over this board. Showing what you deleted weakens your point.

Trump's affinity toward Israel is well known and clearly a factor in his response to what's going on in Iran. Its not "sperging" and is no worse than what anyone else is posting

I know whining about jews and magatards got you easy stickers in A&H, but if you put even the most token of effort in your posts going forward, you might be able to get those stickers again!
