Shots fired after federal police in Minneapolis struggle to subdue man brandishing gun amid protests, video shows​

Shots rang out in Minneapolis early Saturday after federal police tried to subdue a man who was waving around a gun, according to law enforcement sources and video posted to social media.

A 39-second clip showed about half a dozen cops struggling with someone on the sidewalk in front of a donut shop at 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue, when the gunfire erupted.

The officers appeared to scatter after the barrage of shots went off, according to the footage.



The shooting happened after the man brandished a firearm with two magazines, a law enforcement source told The Post, sharing a photo of the firearm.

In a statement, city officials urged residents to stay calm and avoid the area.


“We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave. We are working to confirm additional details,” the statement said.

More than 100 protesters had been at the scene when the encounter occurred. The man’s condition was not immediately known.





On Friday, protesters yelled obscenities at two people wearing plain clothes who they believed to be agents after protesters claimed their rental car was linked to the incident, according to video reviewed by The Post.

Neither person was an officer.



Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) posted about the incident on X late morning Saturday as the details of the shooting were still unfolding.

“I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening,” he wrote.

“The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”


Neither the White House or the Department of Homeland Security have said what precipitated the shooting, and did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Like go out to impede and obstruct federal agents, which I thought we established weeks ago when Downie Dyke got obliterated as illegal and a generally unwise thing to do if you care about your own life and well-being.

Well they might have leared that lesson if every elected democrat and non-conservative media outlet in the country had not spent the intervening weeks working overtime lying their ass off in such a way as to prevent that lesson from being leared.

You are seeing this from some 2A guntubers as well. I think every citizen of the US(barring criminal record) should be able to carry a gun and should carry a gun. I don't have an issue over this guy bringing a gun to a protest. My issue is carrying a gun is a responsibility and should be treated as such. Leaving your ID and permit home and not having it on you is a massive red flag and illegal according to Minnesota law. You are taught time after time that if you have a gun on you and are interacting with a cop, you must tell them you have a gun.

You cannot start resisting arrest and fighting with the cops, when a cop sees a gun and yells "gun gun gun" at that point it is too late and you are fucked and the cops are fully justified in using force. The issue in this case is a cop took the gun out of the holster but either he didn't say anything or with all the whistles and yelling, none of the cops heard him. To me it looked like he reached for the holster to draw the gun but there wasn't one but the cops didn't know that and saw him reaching and fired. All this to protect leftist politicians and their multi billion dollar fraud organization they have built with retarded Somalians. Like I said earlier I cannot muster myself to give a fuck about these people, they said Trump deserved to be shot, they said Kirk deserved to die, they hunted and murdered Aaron Danielson in cold blood for waving a Trump flag in a liberal shithole. I honestly hate these people and really don't see them as people anymore.
 
Regardless of whether this was a clean shoot or not, he deserved death for staking his life on protecting the darkbulbs, who have spent 30 years using the American state to forcibly confiscate the US taxpayer’s hard earned money for them.

Every embezzling Somali and every American rioting on their behalf should be shot dead where they stand. I’m glad I got to watch this piece of trash die, it made my day.

This is going to be the most important detail of this incident, if you also browse gun boards like /k/, etc, you are already aware that the Sig P320 has a fatal flaw and they have been in damage control about it for over a year now.

Basically this pistol has been shooting random police officers in the legs and even got people in the army killed, it's an unreliable piece of shit.
Therefore police departments and the military must have stopped ordering it.
So they must be selling it to leftists looking to become assassins gun owners, and it's also getting them killed, fun.

This issue is so bad it basically fucks up police training, if one federal officer disarms a suspect and starts walking away and the Sig P320 discharges anyways, fun ensues.
Everyone expects pistols to never discharge on their own, because everyone expects gun manufacturers to be competent enough to not make suicide pistols.

This is the most important thing about the funcident and I hope my favorite gossip forum brings it to light.

I'm not the /k/ type, but is his weapon indisputably a Sig P320?

I ask because I followed some Xitter link earlier making similar observations and the replies were full of "actually child that's a P226 so this doesn't apply" or whatever, and fuck if I can tell the difference from some spastic phone footage.
