Shots rang out in Minneapolis early Saturday after federal police tried to subdue a man who was waving around a gun, according to law enforcement sources and video posted to social media.

A 39-second clip showed about half a dozen cops struggling with someone on the sidewalk in front of a donut shop at 26th Street and Nicollet Avenue, when the gunfire erupted.

The officers appeared to scatter after the barrage of shots went off, according to the footage.

The shooting happened after the man brandished a firearm with two magazines, a law enforcement source told The Post, sharing a photo of the firearm.

In a statement, city officials urged residents to stay calm and avoid the area.

“We are aware of reports of another shooting involving federal law enforcement in the area of 26th Street W and Nicollet Ave. We are working to confirm additional details,” the statement said.

More than 100 protesters had been at the scene when the encounter occurred. The man’s condition was not immediately known.

On Friday, protesters yelled obscenities at two people wearing plain clothes who they believed to be agents after protesters claimed their rental car was linked to the incident, according to video reviewed by The Post.

Neither person was an officer.

Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) posted about the incident on X late morning Saturday as the details of the shooting were still unfolding.

“I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening,” he wrote.

“The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”

Neither the White House or the Department of Homeland Security have said what precipitated the shooting, and did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Despite what the Post says about the protestor's condition, Fox News is reporting he died. Spiciness inbound.

ICE's remit is to go after people suspected of being in the country illegally (and also violations of customs law). That said they are full federal law enforcement officers. If they encounter someone committing a federal offense, like interfering with the lawful discharge of their duties, they absolutely have the power and authority to arrest that person.

Non-immigration example: an FBI agent that sees you with an obvious explosive device doesn't need to go radio the BATFE. They don't need to stop and call the Secret Service if they come upon a counterfeiting operation. They are fully able to make the arrest then and there.
Cool. So a guy with a phone in one hand and the other hand open and outstretched away from the firearm doesn't constitute a threat.

His firearm was removed from the scuffle after he was pinned and pepper sprayed. There was no reason to shoot him multiple times. This is just a bad look on the agents' end and is only going to further decrease trust in federal agents.

Or an incel. I just, I refuse to be associated with that.
I hate those masturbating cocksuckers too. ❤️

If he won't fuck, he won't fight. America doesn't need incels, it needs men. :tomgirl:

How typical is it for libtards to carry guns to a protest in the states? Seems out of character, no?

Also the ICE agents look like total limp dick faggots in this video. Them all running away after executing the guy is pure comedy

Go all the way back to only allowing taxpaying landowners to vote.
Net positive taxpayers yes, land ownership has for far too long been victim of the speculative asset trap, if you tied voting rights to it now, blackrock/globohomo would deliberately just price conservative regions out of representation.

Fuck, why stop with repealing the 19th? Go all the way back to only allowing taxpaying landowners to vote. Why the fuck should someone with no investing in a country they take from be able to say how it's run?

There is no doubt in my mind that universal suffrage was a mistake. Being alive, a citizen, and not a felon is simply not sufficient for responsible use of the franchise. But I can't think of any scheme that wouldn't run afoul of cries of discrimination, many of which would probably be justified.

I don’t care if someone has a reasoned, and well researched opinion about it that they’ve concluded after long contemplation.

What I usually get is angry assholes who just want to get revenge at foids because they saw the latest ragebait going viral. Or an incel. I just, I refuse to be associated with that.

It's not something I think about very seriously. I've only heard one semi-reasonable argument for it: politics is the means by which we wage conflict peaceably. Women were traditionally not part of that calculus -- they were not the war fighters; they were the ones who kept the homefront running -- and therefore it's unreasonable to expect them to make good decisions when given that ability. It's something of a crackpot argument to say the least, but it's a bit more rational than "women are ruled by their emotions."

I'm dead serious about repealing the 17th, though. Direct election of Senators has proved a disaster.

My nigger, civilization is built on discrimination. Discrimination is a good thing. Equality is a lie.

I agree, but good luck doing something like mandating a simple literacy or (preferably) civics test for the right to vote and not getting furious screams of POLL TAX which instantly get your new scheme cooked in court.

How many times you been married? They totally are.

My simp nature is exposed, I guess.

If you're carrying a gun and deciding to have a struggle session with half a dozen cops it's kinda on you when they get spooked and ventilate you.

A lot of people right now who don't like guns talking about the second amendment bring violated, as if it was the gun that was the instigating factor here and not the deceased deciding a brawl in the street with cops while armed was an excellent idea.

And all of this just to protect illegal aliens, this is about as sad as the dude who torched himself for palestine

Why, are judges brave? Do their "rulings" enforce themselves?

Sooner (there's no later), people are going to have to stop worrying about what "judges" think if we want to have a country.

Apparently you MAGAloids don't anymore, which is my point. Your hypocrisy and double-standards when it comes to your waifu Donald Trump and his goons would be hilarious if it weren't so sad and pathetic
The Second Amendment doesn't say you have the right to point guns at cops, anymore than the First Amendment says you have the right to raid churches and yell at little kids.

That's probably coming, but once we reach the point of judicial rulings simply being ignored then who gets to vote will be very far down the list of concerns.

Extremely unusual for white liberals or mixed race crowds of leftists.

Sometimes you'll see a small group of militant black nationalists carrying rifles while dressed in matching outfits. There are several of those groups, but they're pretty rare and only in a couple cities. The New Black Panthers did it frequently about 10 yrs ago. There's some other group I've seen in red jackets somewhere in a northern city, I think another is a Black Hebrew Nationalist offshoot, etc.

Something that the midwits trying to defend the dufus need to understand is he got capped after coming multiple stupid action:

Stupid action 1: Bringing a firearm to a situation with intent of being combative
Stupid action 2: Interfering with federal agents attempting to do his job
Stupid action 3: Pulling out his firearm and brandishing it around said agents

Fucknugget had multiple ways (all of which were in his control) to avoid getting ED-209'd and failed all the vibe checks.

Did some new footage leak I haven’t seen his hand on the weapon once.

There is new footage, but it's still really hard to tell what the fuck happened. He does seem to have gotten into an altercation with some unknown woman, although I've heard it described as helping a fellow protestor who'd been knocked down.

He keeps resisting after the first shot is fired, but it's impossible to tell who's responsible for it. Negligent discharge spooking the agents is one theory going around, and right now it seems pretty plausible.

Why is there a debate about this. Bringing a gun to a protest is wrong and there is no excuse. Justice for Joseph Rosenbaum!

Walz and Frey will keep sending retard leftists to their deaths until the media forgets about them using Somali third worlders to defraud taxpayers of billions. It's so obvious I don't know why there's still any discussion about why this is happening.

Eh…so he put his phone away, took out his gun, then put his gun back then took his phone back out?

Because he is using one hand for both devices in this scenario and I am just thinking that is the phone in the photo.

Kinda hard to tell with the windshield.
