Oh hey, it's kinda how Arin said he hates Kingdom Hearts, but then streamed the entire series until KH3 came out.

It kind of proves how autistic GG fans are tho because they're getting tard cum from that fanbase by promoting the games using their hero. They even got him to like Sonic Mania for three episodes (or maybe just the first, it was until the third level at least).

I had to laugh when I saw that post. When and if the GG verse dies, like most YouTubers I see slowly dying, it'll be interesting to see how these people take it.

Ya rant grumps sub did a post about this. Basically agreeing that both sides have their problems but saying one sub is responsible while the while completely ignoring the problem. also the whole dont like dotn watch argument is really great...… if you want said channel to die due too lack of relevance cause all they get is. a Echo chamber and not trying to improve themselves.
 
Should also add this was also posted right around the time that this video was uploaded which, while there are points in L.S. Mark's I heavily dislike or were just completely untrue, she...took it a bit too far in the other direction.

On the topic of fan toxicity - to add to your list of 'lovelies' overstepping their boundaries/adding to fandom toxicity; let's not forget the time where a fan submitted Dan's name into a porn contest,linked the submission to the main Grumps/NSP reddits, resulting in the 'lovelies' stuffing the ballots so he'd win - all without Dan's prior knowledge/consent. Their excuse? 'Dan loved House Party/his persona's name is Danny Sexbang/NSP sings about sex all the time; he'd appreciate this!' (what a fabulous way to treat your idol, right?)

I sincerely wish the Grumps didn't submit themselves to the contest after the fact - by doing so, the Grumps rewarded the 'lovelies' for being horrendously inconsiderate to Dan's thoughts/feelings on the matter. Not a one of those same fans even want to consider the remote possibility that the Grumps' choice in submitting themselves into that contest might have had nothing to do with genuine interest; but concern over the backlash over what may happen if they refused after all the 'hard work' the lovielies did to get Dan that initial win (pay in mind, all of this happened shortly after the Ghoul Grumps fiasco).

In regards to that Grumps forum post you had shared - what's funny is (unless I missed it) that very same post was supposedly deleted; despite the support it got from the main sub. That's rather curious.

Translation - people disagreed with her and she didn't like it. (pretty sure when I peeked at her comment section, there was more than a single comment. Not many, but definitely more than one).

However, even if her claims were legit and there was actual fighting among the commentors, it doesn't explain disabling the likes/dislikes counter (unless you can't deactivate one without the other). The likes/dislikes ratio was terrible, though (last I saw it, it was an even split at 13/13).

I think it was this whole mess that caused me to start losing interest in the Grumps/loathe the fanbase, as a whole. How the Hell do you treat your idols like that and still have the audacity to call yourself a fan. And what kind of idol encourages that behavior by giving in to the rabid fans' demands?

Pretty much, yup. The fans reasoning is that because the Grumps had fun playing the game, they'd appreciate the fans taking the initiative in submitting one of their names into the contest for them.

Fanarts are one thing - they're just picture (weird to be making porn of your idols; but whatever); it's another thing to submit one of them into a porn contest in the hopes that you can actually have simulated sex with him.
