Danny is bad with 3D environments, but I don't blame it on him, he was never really a gamer. In that Ouya Frog game he gets lost going around a corner.

Case in point - the most recent Leisure Suit Larry game; a franchise that Dan was familiar with/absolutely loved, but that Arin sucked the fun right out of from the get go (which is weird, considering it wasn't that long ago that they had played LSL: Magnum Cum Laude - which Arin seemed to enjoy. Why he would suddenly do his best to rag on the newest game is baffling).

But that does seem to be a thing - by and large, if Arin loves a game, they play it in full. If Dan likes a game, they drop it after a few episodes with the excuse that the views just weren't high enough (even though they're roughly on par with every other game they play, if not better - in some cases).

Just goes to show that their partnership is more based around Arin obviously calling the shots and Danny just forcing to go along with it rather than having any real input into it.

Has there been a game that Arin 'loves' without bashing it eventually that Danny didn't show much interest in?

Dan also wasn't (largely) famous before GameGrumps. JonTron was already a youtuber and knew he could just go back to it solo. This is likely Dan's first rodeo of "little effort, large check" and I can see why he wouldn't want to give it up easily.

The "low viewership" always seemed like bullshit to me. I mean the SBFP would beat a game even if the view count was barelly hitting 10k ( tokyo mirage sessions #fe). I think Arin just would get bored of a game during one recording session and do something different.

Unpopular Opinion: I felt like Arin getting bored with games was more common in the Jon era than the Danny era which probably was one of the motivating factors of Jon leaving.

Anyway Arin after all this time of encouraging his fanbase, when the perversion starts to die down he's apparently now taking legal action action some weirdo who drew Game Grumps parody porn. This time it's of Suzy tho so it's different, except it looks way less fishheaded than Suzy.

The reddit comments are all about how gross it is to make porn of real people, saying it's okay for Arin to do this because it's gross to them. Seems like they wish it wasn't legal.
I never saw what the big deal is, personally. If you become a personality who has fans and shit...people are gonna fap to you, and people make porn of what they fap to.

One of those commentors claim that legal action was never threatened; that Arin simply asked for changes so that the comic wasn't based directly off of the Grumps brand/people associated with it; which, near as anyone can tell, the artist obliged to.

No it was far more recent. At a fan Q&A meetup in 2017-2018 a GG fan asked the grumps if Jon would ever guest on the show to which Arin said nothing and Dan uncomfortably said something close to "No it's extremely unlikely" to which the crowd of sheeps fans cheered because YASS QUEEN RACISS MAN BAD SLAAAAAAY. Basically Dan and Arin will never let the man who CO-FOUNDED the show come back to guest on one episode because he stated some FBI crime numbers. That was the point where they finally publicly showed they were hostile towards Jon whereas before it was just passive aggressive shit or flat out refusing to acknowledge he ever existed. Read the thread next time before asking questions this was all covered pages ago in this thread

This also is another case of Arin's strange behavior towards Jon because during their Zelda 2 let's play around 2016 Arin was getting more comfortable talking about him and jon's past. A few of these moments are found on the Grumps compilation channel. On one hand I think it's their manager vernon trying to cull any mentioning of jon so that the GG brand is pure "uwu" garbage but on the other hand Arin is know to be a petty and ignorant person so I wouldn't put it past him to drop a friend after how he treated the OneyNG crew. I still can't believe I thought this faggot as a personal inspiration once.
