Two words: burn out. Every big YT gaming channel has this happen to them. We most recently saw this with Super Best Friends Play (RIP), I heard Alpha Omega Sin is kind of done doing YT and Angry Joe has fallen pretty badly and prefers to put out lazy vlog-style content.

There's also the fact Jon lives in New York and Arin lives in LA. I think a lot of people forget this because they don't realize how much of a fucking hassle it probably was for Jon to jump back and forth across the country just to play video games.
 
Watched a lot of his animation back in the day, and I did like his first Sequelitis on Castlevania. Never really got into Game Grumps, although JonTron wasn't all that bad.

Didn't jon live in LA while working on game grumps?
The room they used in the very first episode of game grumps is the same one jon is in during his space ace episode

Jon moved to New York immediately after leaving game grumps. He was living in L.A but his girlfriend (at the time) lived in New York and he had been making more frequent trips to visit her. Near the end of his game grumps tenure he was talking about how much he hated L.A and how he really loved New York's vibe.
 
Something about this guy has always seemed off to me, and today I finally put my finger on it. He looks like a clone of Pecos Hank who was raised on an exclusive soy diet.
 
One of the funnier things I've noticed is that everyone I've told Arin has a thread here to has had a response of "Why did it take so long?"

I actually have an answer for that: A lot like Phil Fish, who thus far has continued to dodge a thread by being surrounded by much bigger cows, the biggest reason Arin took so long to get a thread is that, as much of a gigantic autist as he is, he is also fucking surrounded by bigger Lolcows. Not the least of which being his wife and multiple Social Justice cows now that Game Grumps is a favorite of the PC Crowd.
 
I find it really fucking creepy that Dan and Arin tolerate and sometimes even encourage rule 34 shit like polygrumps. It's weird enough that people make nsfw fanart of real adults, but it's even creepier when the people making said porn are mostly high school aged girls.

Arin is in his early to mid 30's and Danny is pushing 40, and they're just okay with little girls drawing them sucking each other off.
 
Arin is kinda like Billy Corgan/Paul McCartney: he's not the favourite act in his own circus.

The only thing I watch of his is the 10min Power Hour...but it's only enjoyable because the guys from Supermega are behind it and add their flair to it. And even then, Dan is exponentially more enjoyable to watch.

Just like with GG, the only GG videos worth watching are the "best of JonTron" videos

I also find it fucking annoying how he's one of those "I don't need to announce to the world that I'm bisexual!" types...up until he had his stupid pandering dream daddy game to hock. Then when it translates to literal dollars, he's hella bi (???) Like...sit the fuck down, dude
 
I wonder if Arin fell out with Oney because the funniest thing the Game Grumps will ever do was the Simpsons Hit And Run vid, and that was basically Chris and Ding Dong fucking about.
 
I used to chat with Arin back in the days of dial-up, but I don't remember if he was as much of a lolcow back then.

I think he was always a potential Lolcow, but like Bob Chipman, he basically needed the proper environment to thrive in.

Agreed though, but I'm willing to wager their denouncement of Jon pretty much sealed the deal that he'd never guest with Arin again. Kind of like when H3H3 tried to pin Jon in a corner on his podcast. Poor Jon, his friends keep betraying him.
