It was Jon that ragequit because he refused to get lives in the early levels from his attempt to speedrun the game that totally backfired.
Oh, must have remembered it incorrectly. My apologies.
I didn't watch the apology video, myself (I thought it was unneeded/pandering to a spoiled audience - and, now getting a better idea on what kind of guy Arin is, faked garbage); but the gist of it was Arin apologizing to the pissed off fanbase (or, more accurately, the vocal minority he chooses to pander to) for neglecting their needs/expectations by not delivering Ghoul Grumps on time and explaining the reasons why (namely, he was going through some mental anguish which disrupted their recording schedule - or something like that).
A whole apology video - because some entitled Grumps fans missed out on a single year of Halloween themed games. And the only reason they got that apology video was because a small spoiled section of the fanbase was so pissed at not getting their Halloween videos that they had - apparently - flooded NSP's newly released music video with 'Where's Ghoul Grumps' and similar entitled comments because these spoiled brats were well aware that Dan is less likely to ignore them.
I wish I was kidding. These are the kind of fans that the Grumps bend over for. I get that they rely on the fanbase to support themselves/their channel; but what ever happened to saying 'no'? - especially when the fans cross the line when it comes t their demands (the Ghoul Grumps fiasco, the House Party stunt, the demands to alter their word choices to avoid triggering people, etc. Where does it end?)
For real?! That honestly riles me up even more about both their treatment of their 'idols' and how two-faced Arin is with his responses to said fans.
- A bunch of entitled brats flooding the comments demanding their yearly spookevent because of other personal reasons? Better act all sad and apologetic to those people with a whole video.
- One fan unintentionally triggering Arin with a well-known meme reference to mocking Ross at their usual expense and apologizing during a stream about it politely? Nah, fuck that person, gotta keep acting butthurt about it, even when you made profit off of that very thing that now upsets you with a effing t-shirt!
I'd seriously wonder how Arin would treat his colleagues and superiors at an actual job outside of his friends/Klingon wife. Did he work at any known brands or stores, etc. before Grumps?
