If you're a good person, you do good things, because that is also what you were predestined to do. That Calvin guy is also appropriate here.

So if you are one of those people predestined to do good, YOU WOULD NOT EVEN BE HERE.

And if you are one of those evil people, shouldn't the fact you are here speak for itself?

I like to think of myself as a little bit of both. I don't generally show off that huge of a "bad person" mentality or attitude, but I usually get on this site to join with people to enjoy the world go down in flames and laugh at the reeeetards who cause it.

But, I think I became bad along the way after I got burned out way too many times by "good" people, and just got sick of the shit.
 
The forums are obviously not a safe space whatsoever, but there are rules set in for our and the cows' safeties (even if it's mostly for legal reasons). Regardless of our personal morals, A-logging's heavily discouraged, and we don't wish to see anyone come to harm--though that's the thing about cows, they'll inevitably harm themselves at some point or another if they're not already in the process. Whenever possible, we would like to not have anyone get hurt, but if it means they'll learn from it and better themselves (just as long as they're not hurting others doing so), then that's just how it's meant to be. We just observe and have ourselves a good laugh whenever possible.

'Course if the cow in question is a pedophile, all hope is lost and they should off themselves for the greater good. It'd take away a good portion of our cows in the process, but again, it's for the greater good, and new cows come in every day to replace them anyway.

Well, since you asked, Matthew chapter seven I think says it best when it teaches about not judging others lest you be judged in return. However, verse five states: "Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." This is something many cows don't do, and perhaps us Kiwis as well, though I've seen more accounts of those who've gone through something similar but cleaned up their act or are in the act of doing so. At the very least in that regard, you can't call those Kiwis hypocrites for pointing out the cows' faults and weaknesses that have taken over their lives.

Nobody is perfect, this I truly understand. I try to be decent as a person, and I have my own shortcomings that are mine alone I'm trying to overcome. I came here willingly as a way to balance out the other extremities of crazy that's currently plaguing society and online culture, as well as to further expand my knowledge of the world, and that's how I view the general harsh "tough love(?)" attitude of the Farms. I don't think there's anything wrong about me learning about the dark, depraved side of humanity, it just means I have to work extra hard to keep my faith as strong as can be in better preparing myself to be feeling worthy enough without regret to stand before God at the judgment bar.
 
Alright, so I'm going to lay out three types of cows I think most fit under(category names aren't too important): irredeemable, redeemable, and weird. Irredeemable refers to cows who've done truly horrible things that I don't think they can ever really come back from, stuff like rape or child molestation. Redeemable is cows who've done some stuff that I'd say is "wrong" and hurt other people, but where they've done lesser things, such as theft/con-artistry, assault, etc... The final category of weird is people who haven't really done anything to hurt anyone, with the possible (likely) exception of themselves. This would include combinations of stuff like morbid obesity, very strange fetishes, extremely niche obsessions, and of course getting really angry at trolls or critics.

For the irredeemable ones I don't feel bad about laughing at them or being shocked, I don't really have any sympathy for them and I'm happy that at least they can provide people here some entertainment no matter what else they've done. For the redeemable ones and the weird ones who are hurting themselves, I hope they can get past what they've done and get out of being cows. I don't think making fun of them hurts them, and it's kind of gallows humour to laugh at people who've fucked their lives up, but at at the end of the day I want them to improve. I can't really claim it's totally moral to mock the remaining bunch of harmless spergs and fetishists for no reason, but even then, I don't contact them and I'm not a huge fan of doxing them, so I think the harm is pretty minimal. They're putting themselves out there on the internet and they're usually really funny, so I'll take the harmless immorality in return for laughs at their expense.

Indeed, a lot of the times, they're already doing shitty things that get our attention. It's their call as to whether or not they want to go further down the hole by trying to defend their "privacy" and "self-worth".

Now if you're asking if we're bad people? I honestly feel like it's a yes/no scenario going on. On the one hand, we are because the site can, and has, attracted loonies and lolcows of its own (with varying degrees of awfulness). But on the other hand, I feel like most of our detractors are just calling us "bad" because they can't handle the fact that they or their idols are actually terrible people with one-track mindsets and stupid opinions and interests/fetishes. That or they're /cow/, who have nothing better to do with their lives than to bitch about everything and everyone that doesn't fit their standards.

Of course, when we're talking about people who actually are murderers/terrorists/pedophile rapists, then I say don't hold the fuck back. They deserve any and everything they have against them, even attempts on their lives because they're fucking scum who have cemented their positions in life.
 
I try to be a neutral of a person as possible. I think some of the users here are just as pathetic as the cows and laugh at them to make themselves feel better, and other users are just normal people who have the guilty pleasure of browsing this site.


This site is pretty tame tbh.

Being on the farms doesnt make you are a bad person, being a bad person makes youna bad person.
 
I don't think of myself as a bad person. I'm aware I'm far from a perfectionist and mistakes come and go, but the best thing for me to do is try and stay confident and work my way around things. I've made it this far without becoming too caught up in messes.

It's like some old saying about a roller-coaster or something...up and downs. :)
