I would argue that, compared to most places, we are quite merciful here. What is a Christian to do? Should they go on twitter where they groom teenagers and gossip about e-celebs more than we do? Should they go to youtube where they post monkey abuse videos, sell merchandise to impressionable children, and spread lies? should they go to discord where things that happen on discord happen? Really if you think about it, a Christian should not BE on the internet. But it is not quite so easy to simply not be on the internet, especially when you have spent your youth on it. Sure, kiwi farms sits around and gossips about ecelebs and logs everything about particularly stupid ones, but generally I'd actually say you see less fucked shit here than most mainstream platforms and the kind of degenerate behavior that the internet breeds into people is very much shamed here. Its as good a place to be as anywhere else.

In all honestly I would say I'm nicer than the majority of people I know. I feel like the majority of kiwis also aren't worse than the average citizen. Of course, there is the occasional racist here, but I have the inclination to assume that most of them just use it for shock value and as a way to be free. When I first got here it was a breath of fresh air, because you could do and say anything (as far as I know). Nowadays, I have to admit that there is some inherent negativity present on the forum. Personally I'm just here for Boogie and Chris, both of which I wouldn't wish death upon, despite them being the worst of the worst. I'm just fascinated for some reason. Are people who watch serial killer documentaries bad people? Of course, I don't think any troll apart from liquid chris should interact with these kinds of people. Are we bad for documenting them? We are documenting them because they are terrible people who shoot themselves in the foot constantly. If they were to simply delete their online account and start a new anonymous one, interest would instantly fade. But they don't, and in a way, these forums are maybe even a blessing upon the cows. I have no doubt miss tommy the pedo dogfucker gets off on the fact that he has a subforum and gets all that attention. Humans are inherently addicted to attention and what the kiwis provide is more than most get in an entire lifetime.

TLDR: Some of us are bad, the rest are no worse than people watching crime docs. There's always an easy way out for cows: close the computer.

I see myself as a bad person, it has nothing to do with the farms though. Bad start in life, not much hope because of where I am growing up. Still I am not as bad as Tommie Tooter of Chris Chan, I am just not proud of my choices I made to survive.

They are both good and flawed people here on kiwifarms. However the people here are actually people that I would want to share a common humanity with. Compare to the most inhuman shit you see on reddit or twitter, I'll say the users of Kiwifarms are quite fine.

I would not say we’re bad people overall, this site is no doubt a mixture of some genuinely kind and friendly individuals mixed with some assholes and some rare genuinely dangerous douches who should be locked up. But those are far in between. Overall the farms goal towards lolcows is simply to mock and observe the Internet’s worst weirdest and most stupid lolcows and subcultures failings and mock the prejudices and egos of of groups that are entitled and misguidedly push their own toxic values, codes and beliefs of societal change only to make things worse for others.

Most of the people we go after are not good, misunderstood people, some downright horrible and may even be criminals, so mocking them isn’t really a bad thing if there shitty themselves, and even then the site has always discouraged actual interaction and trolling of these people and groups, what we do doesn’t actively make their life any worse, they chose to post embarrassing, disturbing or terrible things about themselves, people are going to mock them for that, so they only have themselves to blame. It isn’t cruel or bullying in my eyes because the true hilarity of the Internet is that, no one is ever forced to post anything. If you don’t like what people say about you or what you post, turn off the computer, it is that fucking simple and millions still don’t get understand this #1 basic rule of the Internet.

Having said that I do feel that we are rather elitist sometime and the overall tone of this site has become far too serious and up its own ass for its own good, everyone states anything as if they are the smartest person alive and never wrong on anything, they put themselves on a pedestal and it makes many users come across as quite douchey, I wish we’d stop getting mad at lolcows or politics and have more fun laughing together over funny stuff again, I miss that.

We're bad people. Just get the fuck over it.

We need to exist. We are part of the ecosystem, or psychosphere, or whatever you want to call it.

Never delude yourself into believing you're actually good just because you're a bottom feeder eating the crap that the rest of the world dropped to the bottom.

Hi Boogie.

Yes but the people farmers ridicule are often worse.
There's a 1ack of shame in our society, everything is tolerated and so everyone are starting to gnaw at each others throats and the stench is getting harder and harder to ignore.

I think what is being done here is partly healthy. Its also pretty funny.

What I absolutely despise is the safe-space hugbox like environment cultivated by some people here and the mob mentality some users have towards their victims, let alone their endless sperging that becomes almost as obsessive as some of the cows degeneracy.

Kiwifarms is the reaction. And as many reactions its not balanced but often far off the rails in the other direction. But thats life, thesis, antithesis, perhaps we will see a synthesis in the future.

Imagine caring whether you're a "bad person" or not. Hint, people are bad. Are you a person at all? Well, you're a bad one. Welcome to reality.

I'm capable of being a bad person, but I choose not to. Or at least try. Sometimes I wonder, am I irredeemable? And then I browse the cows and know at least I'm not some of these fuckers.
