I mean that guy is right, FFXV is weirdly allegoric to Christ, twice over, both Noctis, and in the books you find out so too is the main villain Ardyn, who once served his purpose to Bahumat, was quickly turned into a Lucifer character against his will. They're a boyband
"True ending" implied it was the original vision.I mean that guy is right, FFXV is weirdly allegoric to Christ, twice over, both Noctis, and in the books you find out so too is the main villain Ardyn, who once served his purpose to Bahumat, was quickly turned into a Lucifer character against his will.
The TRUE ending, which wasn't put in the game because it was the epitome of Dev Hell, involves you teaming up with Ardyn to take out Bahumat.
I think this disqualifies a lot of japanese games. For some reason those guys LOVE to make the gods just as evil as the bad guys. To the point it would be a subversion if the gods didn't turn out to be evil assholes.involves you teaming up with Ardyn to take out Bahumat.
We'll unleash all our forces, we won't cut them any slack!
The EDF deploys!
Anyway, play the Earth Defense Force series, they're all very fun even if the highest difficulty, Inferno, can be a complete nightmare at times. This is 4.1 specifically, but it goes up to EDF 6, not including the four main spinoffs. The more recent games even let you beat the shit out of kaiju with giant mecha in some of the missions, shown here.
Erginus Is Down And Out.mp4
Mostly came to post this game but seeing as you posted no pictures and your description's kinda gayDuke Nukem 3D. Nobody steals our chicks and lives. It's a very fun game. Lone hero kicks alien ass and saves the (babes)world.
I even liked the 2D platformers. I still remember the sound effects.
Hold up, flamethrower? That's not in the vanilla game, was it from one of the expansions that I forgot about?
But instead we get a part in FFXV right before the final battle where all the gods who forged covenants with smash the forcefield around the final boss' tower and Ignis looks directly at the camera, winks, and says "I'm sure glad the gods are on our side! Based!"I think this disqualifies a lot of japanese games. For some reason those guys LOVE to make the gods just as evil as the bad guys. To the point it would be a subversion if the gods didn't turn out to be evil assholes.
Final Fantasy 16.
the context and subtext of the plot are unbelievably based, its about an Older Brother in Royal family doing everything in his power to try and save his little brother, his people, and his love interest, from Creepy faggots from other nations, and especially creepy Rootless Cosmopolitan Alien manipulators who have string pulled all nations on earth for their own interests.
getting more granular with the plot, its characters, and the themes, its incredibly masculine and a great role model for young men, Clive is the epitome of what you should strive to be.
No idea. I honestly can't remember. It's been a long ass time since I last played Duke3d. I just thought it was a good gif for the post.Hold up, flamethrower? That's not in the vanilla game, was it from one of the expansions that I forgot about?
to be fair, that gay guy is probably the best gay guy character I've seen in a game.
well Bahumat isn't exactly evil, he's just absolutely a meddler.I think this disqualifies a lot of japanese games. For some reason those guys LOVE to make the gods just as evil as the bad guys. To the point it would be a subversion if the gods didn't turn out to be evil assholes.
I guess I got filtered by fucking driving everywhere and listening to the meaningless background yapping.I mean that guy is right, FFXV is weirdly allegoric to Christ, twice over, both Noctis, and in the books you find out so too is the main villain Ardyn, who once served his purpose to Bahumat, was quickly turned into a Lucifer character against his will.

oh I never said the game was good, its clearly fucked, the game went through like 12 years of development or some shit, it has the bones of a good idea, and good likable characters, and a decent setting, one that is rather low on magic for Final Fantasy, but the entire middle of the game is fucking missing.I guess I got filtered by fucking driving everywhere and listening to the meaningless background yapping.
