Also it's kind of funny because Scientology is actually not against vaccination, only psychiatry and mental health in general. Though the recruits are taught some pretty crazy stuff so it makes sense they thought their brain wave sessions could train their bodies to combat all diseases or whatever these people were thinking. The church definitely won't stop them from thinking it seeing as it'll make them keep paying for more though

They're also a bunch of crazies so craziness is often co-morbid. One of these cultists is more likely than the general population also to be an antivaxer or some other kind of nutjob.
 
As a powerlevel, my grandma was blinded due to measles.

So the antivax movement is getting worse-- they are now on this thing about "BIG PHARMA WANT MONEY. VACCINES BAD. AREN'T LONG TERM IMMUNITY".

Taking immunology, I literally am just like "...girl, you're going to get painful shingles" plus, the immunity isn't necessary life long. It can also cause complications. BUT BUT, BIG PHARMA BAD AND WORSE.

Oh, and let's not forget this little gem I found on exposing your children to measles because, according to them, the MMR measles vaccine is more deadly than measles according to some weird fucked up statistic where 100 kids died over the course of 10 years, and not quoting the statistics where measles killed about 400-450 kids per year.

because those diseases can mutate and can get stronger. To the point where they'll affect adults who have vaccinated. Some vaccines also need to be boosted and not everyone does that.

People who don't vax should also be the biggest vaccination promoters because if someone else gets sick, so will you.

It's r.etards like this that give furries a bad name. My standard response always has been, and always will be: [citation needed]. I couldn't care less what your opinions are. If opinions are like arseholes in that everybody has them, then they can't be worth all that much. What I care about is evidence. There is no scientific debate about the efficacy and safety of vaccines, because there is no debate to be had. Vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective time and time again. Science does not stop to consider your opinion just because you do not agree with the outcome. This is not how science works. We hypothesize, test, verify, and adjust our methodologies based on new evidence.

If you think vaccines are harmful, which they're not, but if you think they are, show your evidence. It's really that simple.

I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir here, but this shit is still vitally important. Diseases eradicated in the west are back thanks to these r.etards.
 
I see anti vaxxers use the hygeine hypothesis to justify not vaccinating their kids. Because exposing your kids to natural microbes is totally the same thing as exposing them to measles.
