I’m willing to argue that ever since Fantano gave moderate to just OK review scored to Kendrick‘s TPAB and DAMN., he’s been trying his hardest to curry his favor with what’s left of Kendrick’s “woke” fans just so he does not look like a bad guy.

It’s been said before, but 2015-2017 did a number on people forcing to care about social justice warriors, to the point where now these so-called “activists” are trying to justify and (at worse) lecture others about the state of hip-hop music and other forms of music that have minorities that are no longer minorities — mainly music with semi-famous to famous musicians who happen to be black and shaming musicians who happen to be white for not allowing more “black spaces” into their genre of music.

I wish I were kidding on that last part, because Fantano was and is a part of the issue of this happening.
It’s hilarious because we’re now at the stage where a lot of up-and-coming black actors and musicians like Zoe Kravitz, Isan Elba, or O’Shea Jackson Jr. are the wealthy, insanely privileged kids of black celebrities but faggots like Fantano still twist themselves into knots trying to act they’re somehow oppressed in Hollywood and casting Jaden Smith as an enby King Richard the Lionheart or some other dumb shit is a really progressive step forward for society.

He only gave an OK score to DAMN., and then caused further seething by dropping it from a 7 to a 6 in a retrospective. That was seen as contrarianism by his fans, considering it came on the heels of a bunch of fags bizarrely awarding the album a Pulitzer.

TPAB received one of his rare 10s from the jump, which came with an extremely gushy, worshipful review that had his teenaged fans cheering that the album would be studied in schools someday. Which aged poorly considering you pretty much only hear King Kunta getting airplay these days. But considering the heat he caught for the DAMN. ratings, I'm sure he learned his lesson that even mild criticism is not welcome for popular black artists, even if he otherwise salivates over them.

The Blacker the Berry:
He talks about the oppressor/oppressed narrative that blacks are told for most of their lives and how they use the resulting victim complex to externalize their own issues. Most of the song he repeats this narrative only to twist it back with the final lines;

“So why did I weep when Trayvon Martin was in the street?
When gang-banging make me kill a nigga blacker than me.
Hypocrite!”
Kendrick even said in an interview about that song that "What happened to [Michael Brown] should've never happened. Never. But when we don't have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don't start with just a rally, don't start from looting -- it starts from within." Pretty based. It got him some scathing backlash from white lefties and journos. To say Kendrick is an SJW is just flat out wrong.

Ever since I saw Kendrick essentially tricked a teenager into saying nigga while singing one of his songs and then shamed them for it he was officially fagged up.
Anyway fantano was left behind by musical society long ago and the only people paying attention are us, self hating Caucasians that can't even recognize a pimp C lyric and negroes wearing beanies and rapping about the pyramids.

Fantano’s twin returns to do a review about his Chance The Rapper review:

And I have to say:

He’s really committing to the bit.

Overrated slam poetry nigger garbage. Only white hipsters and Jews like this blasphemous faggot. Black people don't even listen to Kendrick Lamar.

The only people that I know who listen to Kendrick Lamar are annoying "woke" whites who think that listening to corporate rap by black artists is somehow rebellious (even though dorky suburban white kids have been listening to rap music since the 80's) and whitewashed, suburban, "educated" blacks who desperate want to play up their "blackness" even though they're wealthier and more privileged than even the majority of white people in the U.S.

When have you ever heard an actual regular black person blasting Kendrick Lamar from their car stereo? Never. Not even wiggaz are down with Kendrick.

He gave TPAB a perfect 10/10

I'm honestly ashamed of myself for applying his faggy reviews to my opinions on music back when I was still in highschool.

I hope this does not end in the most predictable way with using Discord.

"Hey kids I got some Billy Ellish lps in my van! You kids love Billy Ellish right?"

Logic made fun of Fantano again for his years old Supermarket review that he trashed after making the soundtrack for the book:

Funny enough, some of Logic’s fan base thought it was amusing, but others were concerned for his well being:

Also, Fantano even responded with a not so subtle video title:

I’m guessing Melon is not in on the joke.
