I think it is kinda disgusting that he profits off of the dead guy that he cared more for, despite only knowing him for 2 years, compared to a 20 year partnership that of Cumia's.

Cumia got an audience member email criticizing him for being unfocused on the show and Anfernee is so pissed he can’t stop talking about it. He is constitutionally incapable of not feeding the trolls.

Makes me wonder if Ant told management that he would be able to bring Opie out of retirement and restart O&A. They may have thought they were buying the whole show, not just the tranny fucking pedophile.

Scorch truly was the one who made out good. Ant and Opie would make fun of him and call him a hack, but he seems to be doing much better than either of them and the fans seems to have embraced him as that wired uncle whose cool and is fun to be around.

I don't think Opie would go for it,

A. He had stated that WABC had previously given him an offer to do a weekly show similar to Ant's but had turned it down due to the pay being "pennies" compared to what Opie had made at Sirius XM before and after Ant's and his termination.

B. I think due to the personal issues alone and them going back and forth motherfucking each other even after he was the one that reached out to Anthony via text before and after his QBP procedure, there was a sign right then and there to put all this shit behind but then Opie had claimed that Ant and Joe went back to trashing him after.

I don't know how to put it, but Opie is rather content with doing his morning 500 feet skyline, and his barfly video streams to 10-20 viewers on YouTube/Facebook/TikTok every day, yet he feeds into the trolls who trash him. He then goes to trash Ant and puts his name in the titles to increase the views. Thus, Ant goes back and forth, calling out Opie on every other video he does, sending the traffic back, its a weird ass cycle.

The open invite is there, and that came from Cumia, but do not get your hopes up or expect to hear the Opster on WABC one of these Sunday nights.

Norton & Vos are joining Cumia next month for another 3 hours of mediocrity and a viewer gain for WABC.

I mean, Scorch is an utter hack and he has a tiny audience.

The difference is that he seems oblivious to these facts and just keeps plowing ahead like he's on the same level as Stern.

Ten thousand percent. Cumia never recovered from the psychological wound of getting fired and nobody else quitting in solidarity with him. He insists he's done with all these figures from his past, but they're the only thing he talks about. He's not over shit. His deepest unconscious wants nothing more than to be back in the room with all the guys and nobody calling him a freak racist. He gets more bitter the more he realizes it's just over forever with him and some of them, like Bill Burr for example.

I should've made the sarcasm more obvious! Cumia's stuck in the past. It's one of the two things he talks about, the other being whatever right-wing news stories went around Twitter that week, to which he provides a take about 1/3rd as hot as you'll find in any Autistic Thunderdome thread. I thought some of his best recent material was him going nuclear on Kevin Brennan and roasting him over clips, it was like finally, some new drama. But he regressed immediately to his old habits after that.
 
I imagine the Norton/Vos show will go like this:
