I'm thinking about getting tickets to see Norton on his current tour. $40 at the door is reasonable, but he's charging an extra $50 to say hi to him and get a picture. Jimmy bragged for over a decade about how he loves hanging out with fans after a show and he never turns down a picture. Now he's charging more than the cover charge to meet him.

I should just pull a Jimmy and chase him down the street with a camera in his face.

Norton and his husband had comic Ian Fidance on their show. At around four minutes in, the Norwegian says that Jimmy should start doing shows as Chip Chipperson again and the worm says he’s too busy (??). Just sharing because I’ve seen a lot of people say Norton stopped doing Chip on his husband’s orders.

One Chip impersonation. Just onnnee Chip impersonation. One lousy Chip impersonation. Here comes the Chip impersionation. Just one Chip impersonation

He was funny when he was being mean. Opie trashing Lisa Loeb is great. Any time they got Sam's mom on the phone, Opie really stuck it to Sam. There's also the time Sam picked a friend of the show for Jocktober and everyone turned on him, including Opie who got some lines in. Opie and Patrice had some great banter about their shared disgust of Asians.

The Opie hate is a meme. He walked on a few bits for sure, but if you listened to the show regularly you had to put up with Anthony derailing the show with irrelevant and obnoxious political talk that wasn't funny or interesting. Jim also played Fez a lot and would sit in studio saying fuck all. They all had their exits and entrances.

The best days were when all three were on the same page about a topic or bit, and when everyone got enough sleep the night before. This was a big issue with Ant, who constantly showed up hung over and left both Opie and Jim hanging.

Pre-marriage Opie was the best rendition of him. He was more relaxed and felt like he fit in better, even after the whole drama with his wife and Ant's ex being best friends. I don't know how true is the talk about his in-laws nagging him about not liking certain bits (like Uncle Paul). He was now a family man in the middle of that environment of the show. It definitely showed. My favorite clip to feel uncomfortable to is Opie trying to ignore Uncle Paul while talking to Judy Gold about changing diapers and parenting tips

My favorite bits involving Opie will always be their bra bombing during Jocktober and then Opie throwing shit at people when they got Spuds Buckley audio. You can hear the utter rage in his voice as he recounts all the humiliating shit he went through to get where he got.

Beige is still the only one who really was willing to cover and correctly articulate what happened to those two.
Beige's O&A documentary is great but I had to unsub from him after his incredibly embarrassing Burn the boats Joe Rogan special review where he spent like 1/3 of it crying that he made "transphobic" jokes.

This is the same star fucker that actually hounds real celebs for a pic for free.
And let it not be forgotten that it was Dice that first brought Norton onto the show because he thought he was a talent and was opening for him.

don't unless you think his standup is good. imo he's a decent book writer and i've cried laughing at OnA, but his standup is a bore

His old old shit, like 2006 era stuff, if still fairly funny. But I agree, he's far better as a third-mic and author than he ever was as a stand-up. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Happy Endings years after considering myself no longer a fan.

I'm listening to OandAOnThisDay and Ant is whining (broadcast from February 10, 2009) about how Americans are to blame for all the illegal immigrants taking their jobs. "Do it for exactly what the illegals are doing" was his advice to people who struggle to compete with illegal immigrant workers in 2009. I know that political situations and opinions change, and this was 16 years ago (how time flies), but I felt like noting this to remind people that Ant was not always Mr. Super Duper Redpilled, Esquire.

Ant stopped giving a fuck about tradesmen the day he threw his HVAC tools out his truck window on the way to Boston. Even when he did have a hard job, he blew it off constantly and scammed him bosses. He would bail on his crew and take his jet-ski out when he should have been working. His company would fire him, then he'd get hired at their competitor for a couple dollars more an hour. His stated goal was to last just long enough that after he got fired, he had accrued enough experience to ask for more money at the next place. He wasn't specific, but it sounded like he did this at least 4 times.

"I got mine" should be chiseled on his tombstone when he goes.
