He says that this effectively killed radio as a medium because corporations that owned radio stations were now concerned with controversy which could hurt advertising revenue

Seems to be a few details away from his original story of being assaulted out of nowhere for taking pictures of buildings, and seemingly slips up by mentioning how the woman was walking away in the first place

The thing with Anthony, for me, isn't his bigotry... as I've gotten older, I find our views on race (mostly black folks) align pretty closely. It's that he's become so one note about it, he's become tedious to listen to. His pedophilia, however, I find highly objectionable... If he was just dating "barely legals" that would be one thing, but he does seem to have a legit taste for fucking kids. He's sick.

I, and others, think that Patrice dying is what broke him. He lost a good friend, an incredible talent, someone who pushed back on him, and was reminded of his age and mortality all in one event. I agree. I think the biggest value add Patrice had to Anthony is that he couldn’t be a lazy racist. If he was going to be a racist, he had better be on his game or else Patrice would wreck him. Without Patrice, Anthony just became a lazy nigger, which eventually led to his current situation where he’s on Gavin’s extremely gay and unfunny network.

IIRC, Opie was a lot more openly conservative while ant was almost a token lib until about 2008. Like ant would get in fights with callers who'd bring up FBI crime stats. Then something around 08 happened to have him start getting redpilled.

I personally don't believe that. Gavin had a podcast before Cumia brought him in, if anything the insulated nature of being on TACN made it harder for the proud boys to grow.

Gavin would have easily found a home with the creek and the cave or elsewhere and the proudboys would have been an even bigger phenomenon.

Cumia was a terrible network head and despite having most of the biggest podcasters in his network (he literally had Shane Gillis hosting shows) his retarded decisions and partner Keith fucked it all up and led to people leaving once they figured they worked the kinks out of their podcast.

Even worse the comedians he had on practically begged to take over for Keith and Cumia, letting them just be literal figureheads, but they refused.

Gavin McInnis doing his show on YouTube like the skanks or pat Dixon or Mike David or cumtown would have thrived and gotten even more popular and the proudboys wouldn't have been only a couple thousand strong.

Gavin is a lot like Bennington, he'll do a show for even 100 listeners. He just needs to make content. So he would have ended up in the same place regardless.

I think that more than anything that Anthony is lazy and this was just him being lazy.

When O&A started - he saw it as a massive opportunity. He came in early, stayed late, did audio editing, etc - the works. He used to get awards for reads and commercials.

As time went on - he delegated more and more. Then started coming in later, leaving earlier, phoning it in more and so on. Eventually it got to a point that when the show started at 6, he'd be in promptly at 6:05 (while Ecstasy of Gold was playing) and when the show ended at 10, would be in his car doing 110 on the LIE at 10:02.

Opie used to joke about splitting the week (with Opie and Anthony coming in 3 days each) but Anthony would probably do it if he could. He saw the writing on the wall when each contract was worth less then the last but would have rode it out like an absolute unfunny worm (see also - Jim Norton) on SXM if he didn't get fired.

The more I hear him repeat his story and get really small details mixed up or outright wrong (ex. he claimed he was taking photos of scaffolding and eventually that part evolved to "buildings and people", he says the lady charged at him but now says she walked away and later attacked), the more I think that the Black lady didn't attack Anthony at all

Because Anthony is so famous for his respect for women and Black people, and his disdain for domestic violence, he totally would've let himself be slapped around in public by a Black woman for no actual reason (should you believe that part). Yes he could just be a chicken when things actually get serious and his "machismo" can't hold up, but the entire situation comes off as so outlandish (the ONLY reason why I'm not 100% is because he didn't say it was a gang of Black youth that did it, otherwise it would have been so on the nose)

Also, with how much he flaunts his police connection (having two former detectives be his chauffeurs, having a PBA badge that supposedly bails him out of traffic stops and tickets), you'd assume he would've called someone on her. I'm probably holding him in higher standards than I should, but his reaction to being attacked doesn't match up with the person he is (again he might just be a wuss which explains the discrepancies)
