Why was Anthony so amiable about that, even when it all went sour between Dave and Crowder (although I recall he efapped Landau’s post-Crowder interview with Mike Malice, and Ant let out some ‘joking-but-not-joking-but-really-joking’ barbs at Dave then).

I recall him being really passive-aggressive, and remember that shitty Kevin Brennan -who seethed that Landau got the gig instead of him to begin with- was brought in to rage and bitch about him the second he left.

Anthony is nothing if not a pussy, and Landau was going to a much bigger personality. If he said something and Crowder decided he needed to fire back, Anthony wasn't going to come out the winner and Anthony knew it. Remember, he had Gavin fire what was left of Compound for him. Non-confrontational cocksucker only breaks out the tough-guy persona when he's completely convinced there won't be blowback for it.

Brennan is STILL obsessed with Landau. He has mentioned multiple times in the past two weeks that he runs Google searches on Landau and reported back on his height. (Kevin Brennan is nearly 65 years old and this is his life.)

There’s one thing that never fitted in with the caustically bitter and resentfully vindictive nature of Anthony Cumia: the original departure of Dave Landau from Compound in 2021.

IIRC just after Dave left Compund Anthony talked about it on air and... he had some trouble controlling himself, you could tell the repressed anger,i think he even started to choke the microphone stand for a second before calming down and laughing about it like it was a joke. I think Redbar have the video up (Since it is behind a paywall, and Cumia ain't that funny i would pay for it.)

I haven't really seen any clips from the ronnie b retirement show worth listening to. occasionally they beat up earl but otherwise it's been phoned in (literally during the covid zoom era). it would be great to kick gail and get someone good in there but i think ron is comfortable just hanging out with his daughter

Isn't Chris Stanley actually Ron's son? My impression is that Bennington is basically him and his family milking Sirius.

An O&A reunion show ain’t gonna happen, especially now that Anthony is in South Carolina. I’ve always believed that O&A’s strength was the quality of the guests. For the reunion show, you’re just gonna get Jim Norton (who Opie hates) and any has been who can’t get booked on local morning zoo shows, like Nick DiPaolo. Bill Burr, Louis Cuck King, and Kevin Hart are not going to show up. So as much as fans still hold out for the chance of a reunion show, they don’t really want to see how it’d actually turn out.

As someone who listened to the last about 3 years of O&A before Anthony got fired it wasn't even that good of a show. 3/4th of the show was boring for the most part I think most people just listened out of habit and for the occasional gold. A reunion wouldn't live up to anyone's expectations. This was one of my favorite bits they did and they're just not this honest anymore.
