And that's why Anthony is prime lolcow material. He can't stop sperging. Look at how that subreddit views Stalker Patty, a woman who was one of the show's butt monkeys for years. She's one of the "good eggs" whenever the remaining few good things about O&A get brought up. Even Patty took criticism in stride, and was a good sport about things. That was even her schtick whenever she did Ron & Fez, where Ron would encourage the callers to try and hurt her feelings, and she didn't let them.

Of all the things Anthony should have deflected with his brilliant humor, catching some flak for his firing should've been something to grin and bear and say "yeah, I fucked up" but instead he turned on his fans and started doxing them. Even the subreddit was like "why dox someone as low-tier as me". It's because he can't take what he built his career on dishing out. And then it all snowballed from there, and now you have dozens of fans impersonating him on Twitter, taking away his beloved Twitter forever, and zeroing in on every shit thing Anthony's done in his entire life. His pedophilia was already well-known from back when Patrice was still alive, and he was still redeemable in their eyes, but the whole SelfCuttingGirl saga and Sue Lightning was uncovered because the subreddit turned on him for doxing them and calling them assholes for voicing their opinion.
And now it's too late to apologize, or fix things.

I never even cared about that subreddit unless it was to play catch up with the Jim & Sam show once in a while, but you have to admit that was the show's last stronghold despite being a den of circlejerking cunts, at least they were his circlejerking cunts.

Jesus christ, that entire display is depressing. A couple of frumpy lesbians with shitty little signs should be the butt of the joke. More security followed him out than fans and a few familiar aged faces from the show. Worse than the "fan protest" when Anthony got fired that consisted of Bobo and two fat people standing outside the SiriusXM building calling people fags. Radio is truly dead.
 
The whole signing was shut down after 20 minutes due to people (Antifa and O&A Reddit guys) calling the store and Anthony was asked to leave the premises.

People on the O&A subreddit were tweeting Barnes and Noble and local Antifa groups/members all weekend long tomdraw out protesters. Anthony had a dozen security and police there to walk him out past the short, dumpy lesbian who was calling him a racist and a wifebeater. You can see him in the lobby and hesitating to leave in the video. Apparently only 4 fans actually showed up the whole time he was there. Anthony brought along more people than that including Bobo and Big A for some reason.

All in all a pretty humiliating night for Andy Cumia. Those 4 sharpies were barely used.

I like to think that Ant spent the last of his fortune chartering a plane to take Bobo, Joe et al across the country, certain that upon landing he'd sell enough books to refill his coffers and restart his career. Maybe meet an agent who, after seeing Ant swarmed by throngs of fans, would put him in Stern's old seat on America's Got Talent. Then it all came to shit before his eyes and he realized as he was being escorted out of his non-event by security and dumped on the street that he'd somehow have to come up with bus fare to get everyone back to the compound.

Gone are the glory days when they would make facebook accounts named "sloppy joe" and "frunk k. kuss" and post scat porn to the walls of radio show pages. All in the hopes that O&A would bring the page on air and jim would exclaim "boy wow, that girl is ugly but she can eat some shit!"
 
I'm not a fan of either of the douchebags, is Opie doing any better though? I mean, what, he's been reduced to doing a "podcast" which, let's be honest, is the equivalent of running around with a tape recorder.

Opie is doing a lot better then Anthony. Sure, he's not a huge radio host anymore. But's he found success in far more important aspects. He's enjoying life, is raising a family and is doing something he actively enjoys. Sure, it's a small podcast that doesn't draw in tons of listeners. But he actively enjoys doing it. He's no longer the miserable co-host of a radio show where the fans hated him. He comes off as a much happier human being compared to his O&A days.

In short: Opie is living life and enjoying it to it's fullest. Cumia is in a never-ending cycle of misery that has no end in sight.

I'd agree, but he landed Bill Burr recently. A year ago if you said he'd be getting people actually gave a shit about, I'd say you were full of shit. He's plugging away at a low-rent podcast, but he's not routinely humiliating himself either.

I don’t get that impression at all from listening to the WhoAreThesePodcast? podcast. The host plays snippets of Opie’s show every week at the end of his podcast and Opie comes off as being as delusional as Maddox, if not more so.
