Puppeteer is the worst to play against, especially when you're trying to show someone new how to play. Exploding on death got old very fucking quick.

Evil Dead's state ATM is pretty good in my humble opinion.
Survivors are still fun as fuck to play and demon's can still kick your ass even if your coordinated.
Surprisingly, devs fixed a horrible damage bug fairly quickly, with survivors that dropped with the AVED update (damage auras kept increasing everytime it activated) as well as a bug to constantly get power possessions on Puppeteers units.
Cars are still a problem for demons (only 7% health decrease)
Demon's got a new ability called demon power that replaces demon vision that's actually really useful.
I'm still annoyed at the lack of new demons (this is coming from a strictly survivor player as well) but I'm getting a fair balance of puppeteers and plaguebringers, sometimes necro and the rare warlord every once in a while.
BR mode is actually really fun from what I've seen, ED's base maps and mechanics actually work fairly well with the BR playstyle but it's mainly people teaming in solos so hopefully they'll add squad modes in the anniversary update for the game.
TL;DR ED's in a good spot just needs more demon content and players.

I haven't played in a few months. I tried to get some friends to last night but as soon as I said, "battle royale", they were "Eh, no thanks.".
