Probably because a decent survivor team stomps complete ass though I don't get some of the character nerfs. The possession shit at least gives the Demon player a chance to do something as I've only seen Possession do actual damage when it's not a good team.

Late so I apologise, but I could see them either being a unique trap for Baal, or as a new Ash hand cosmetic similar to the one in DBD.

Unrelated but we finally have a timeframe of release for Castle Kandar
Thank fuck it's coming this month, any longer and this game would've been dead quicker then VHS

Wow, so they showed of castle kandar and few new cosmetics and melee weapons.
I’m admittedly excited but holy shit, the fact that the preorder bonus is being solid separately this early in the game’s life cycle is so baffling to me.
I’ve had people defending it by saying “pre-ordering just means you got early access to them”

The new map is actually pretty cool, it's being weighted hard right now. It's Kandar and the surrounding area but in "modern" time, so the castle and everything are in ruins but a lot of the map is accurate to places in AoD. They even added weather effects so it's potentially different each playthrough though some of my friends had issues when it was raining. The update is a little buggy as of right now so hopefully they patch it soon.

That being said, the new explorer mode is ok but what map you get is random, which I don't like. You also have to fight Deadites as you explore the map and get none of your characters abilities or upgrades. I honestly think that's kind of fucking stupid for an Explore mode and should be fixed, but that's me. They also released the pre-purchase AoD Ash knight and S-Mart costume exclusives as purchasable for $2.99 each.

I heard that the devs patched the game and it favors survivors more? Can you comment on that?

Every pub vs player game I've played post possession buff has usually been a lot harder for survivors. I mostly just play private games with my friends now though.


I'd be shocked if the game comes to Steam after the devs saying it's a Epic exclusive.

Really quick can any of my fellow ED enjoyers able to send me the models and textures of ED1's alt outfit and AOD's alt outfits?
I wanna use them for mods for other games
 
Please come to Steam so I can play this with my buds. I love Evil Dead to death and this game looks fun as fuck, but no amount of fanservice could ever get me to download EGS.

The fact that they added a fucking AoD map makes me want to scream in frustration, it's like they're trying to get inside my head.

Scotty was the first I mained to 25, and at first noone was playing him. Now I'm seeing him a lot and levelling Henry the Red. Was a 50 point buff to Shockwave really that changing?
 
They're making that chick from the remake that everyone hated the next playable survivor. I have to wonder who this is for because literally no one liked that movie or its characters.

He still does high damage with his spawns? I played that game for about a week to two on release and have yet to touch it. It's not a bad game but I tend to prefer watching asymm gameplay, killer only, and to me this game has a horrible experience for spectators when watching killers.
