That many characters die is sort of irrelevant. The anime at least attempts to explore the male heart, friendship, ambition. While not exactly unique, it's presented in a different way, which I liked.Eh? How? Characters die left and right, often after making poor choices. The TV series ending is anime-original as the manga has been put on eternal hiatus.

Based Christina is based once again. Tho I don't know who that old lady is.
That's Chiaki J. Konaka, the writer lol.Based Christina is based once again. Tho I don't know who that old lady is.
I'm surprised they're allowed to get away with bastardizing shows like that TBH. I know if my series that got adapted from a light novel/manga was "localized" in another language and was made to push the some tard's political agenda I'd be pretty pissed.
I hope we get a Gash Bell remake like Shaman King or Mahoujin GuruGuru. The anime is so slow I can't recommend it over the manga
The creators or stuios either don't care or aren't told what they'll do with the sub or dub. This goes back to the ADV dub of Ghost Stories. They claimed the anime was a flop in Japan when it really wasn't. Since the show has a lot of Japanese cultural references, it was easier for them to make a dub full of improved jokes.I'm surprised they're allowed to get away with bastardizing shows like that TBH. Well, yes, if you wanted to dub a comedy you'd have to replace references your audience wouldn't get...The creators or stuios either don't care or aren't told what they'll do with the sub or dub. This is just one of the things that will forever make me a subs>dubs person. The creators or stuios either don't care or aren't told what they'll do with the sub or dub. How the fuck is calling out cancel culture far right? The only crime of the stage play is that it's pretty corny and ham-fisted, which was probably intentional knowing how Japan view us politics. This Digimon stuff is the dumbest shit ever, specifically putting this at the beginning of the translation.

Tamers remains my favorite Digimon season.
This is like that "sus" in the subtitles for Nagatoro, right? They can still force in super cringe "le epic zoomer humor" in their subtitles
I have to admit that seeing the actual VAs on stage (except for Nozawa as Guilmon who prerecorded her dialogue I believe) felt cringy, I only really watched for the plot/subs so I could understand the play. How the fuck is calling out cancel culture far right? It should be a felony to end a statement on a rhetorical question. This is like that "sus" in the subtitles for Nagatoro, right?

I've never watched/read Nagatoro, but that looks cringy. Just translate it into English most people can understand, I don't need to look up English slang to read these subtitles (unless it was intended by the author).

Still, it's not like the message is as bad as western animation like Blue's Clues blatantly featuring a pride parade or every recent series that feels the need to shove in identity politics where it isn't needed.
I don't think I saw many people complaining that Blue's Clues was ruined for them, so why is it suddenly an issue with Tamers, which as stated previously has covered more serious topics than Blue's Clues?
I kinda meant it legitimately, I don't understand their thought processes at all to be honest. It should be a felony to end a statement on a rhetorical question.
Because those kinds of anime fans started to watch anime in 2015, around the time the “Culture War” and “GamerGate” started. How the fuck is calling out cancel culture far right? Texhnolyze is actually on my list alongside Haibane Renmei. The only thing I know tho is the fact that they're like a lite Serial Experiments Lain. That's Chiaki J. Konaka, the writer lol.
Also noticed this comment. Can anyone who's seen Texhnolyze confirm it?

The trannies who Lainpost are almost an entirely different sort of tranny than the ones who obsess over animu ticking all of their specific political checkboxes. Still just as insane but a different flavor of insanity.I hope this means trannies will fuck off from Lainposting too.
