I saw the Demon Slayer movie today in theaters. I can honestly say it was one hell of an experience.

Ufotable honestly feels like they are on another level when it comes to their animation. The visuals were phenomenal. Maybe the best I have seen.

Music was perfect and it was a great adaptation of the arc from the manga.

And even tho I knew what was coming..... The ending of the movie still hit me like a truck.

Highly recommend it to every anime fan. Especially Demon Slayer fans.

Definitely deserves all the praise it gets.

Based off of Nagatoro’s teaser for next week, they’re massively expanding the “Sempai draws Cat-toro into a full episode/story thing.

I read the first chapter of “I reincarnated as the 7th Prince, so I’m going to learn magic“ and the artist does not seem to understand that you’re supposed to pose boys and girls differently...

Also, even as someone who actually does enjoy isekai/reincarnation series, I am getting really tired of the impossibly young multi-prodigy characters.

I don’t mind a kid who’s good at 1 thing, I can accept that. But why do so many of these series have 3 year olds who can have fluent dialogue and read and also do magic or fight? Just make them 7 or 8. It’s still impressive, it’s just slightly more plausible.

Sounds like you enjoy more action related shows with nice fights just going by the 3 you listed. Some more recent stuff:
-Tenrou: Sirius the Jaeger (Plot is pretty standard, but I liked it well enough. The fights and animation are probably the best part).
-Houseki no Kuni (Probably the best looking fully cgi show and makes great use of it to animate some truly great fights. Season 2 never).
-Tanya the Evil (Fun fantasy WWI show and Tanya is a really fun MC).
-ID:Invaded (Great mind bending mystery that manages to stick the landing, great main cast).
-Mob Psycho (Bones passion project so it's chalk full of amazing levels of animation and great fights. Mob himself is a 10/10 MC, though Reigen was clearly the favorite at Bones).
-Demon Slayer (Great action/animation and the main cast is pretty good).
-Drifters (The opening should be enough to win anybody over, same guy that did Hellsing so you'll like this if you liked that).
-Hellsing Ultimate (If you haven't seen Hellsing then watch this version as it's the full adaption, though I'd also recommend the manga just for the fact that the author's mini comics are really funny to read).

Bonus (Not new stuf):
-Garden of Sinners Movie series (some really slick fights though each film can vary widely in quality when it comes to story. Last film is my personal favorite).
-Sword of the Stranger movie (probably some of the best sword fights put to animation and has an amazing ost to go with it. Don't read the comments on the linked ost just in case).
-Birdy the Mighty Decode (Really slick fights and a fun sci-fi series).
-Jormungand (Fun gunfights, if you like this you'll like Black Lagoon and vice versa).
Appreciated.
The three I listed were more by way of recent stuff I had seen, will give those recommendations a look (a few I have seen already).

If it's a girl who's reincarnated into a young prince, then of course she's not going to know how to pose like an actual boy. If this keeps up in further chapters without explanation, then the artist is a dumbass.

I'm currently watching the 2019 Psycho-Pass stories and they're such an upgrade from Psycho-Pass 2 that it's disgusting. Sinners of the System is actually a really good series of stories and Mika is even a likable character this time around. The team from the OG Psycho-Pass appears in SotS2 and just reminded me of why I liked them so much. They even made the cast from Psycho-Pass 2 more fleshed out.
I think I hate PP2 even more now, considering I originally blew off the new stuff thinking they were going to be as shit and finding out they're actually pretty cool.

Haven't read it myself, but isn't that series just low quality "draw a girl, call it a boy" trap fanservice?

No, it’s a guy who dies and reincarnates as a guy. It’s the way the artist frames shots and draws the character that it reads like a girl - the legs are way too feminine as well.

Makes sense. I actually thought the reveal was going to be that it was a girl pretending to be a boy in a Rose of Versailles story, but not so much.

Looks like I was wrong... new wrinkle introduced. I guess the artist was aware of the flag.

Pretty sure the new girl is the old president’s little sister, in which case I feel like this gets set up and quickly knocked away, but if this is a friend from the past it probably goes longer and will give us a chance to learn a bit more about senpai’s past.
It just sets up more jealous nagatoro ayuff which is Hit or miss. But i think the alpha girl making fun of incel was the most hilarious parts of it.

I don't know why, but I want this too. The concept of Broly was alright but the execution was originally fucking awful. Cooler worked from the get go before they did the robot thing.
I also like Cooler for no real reason other than I think he looks cool(er), so bringing him into the main story would be fine by me. It's funny, a lot of the folks in my anime-watching friend group think Cooler is overrated, so I'd enjoy watching them get a little buttmad over a Cooler movie.

Agreed, it's worth the watch in the theater if you can see it. I'm not even a huge Demon Slayer fan and I thought it was great. Ufotable is doing some real quality work with the adaptation, so here's hoping another season comes out soon.

I really like Ojojojo and Sabinuki Kanojo and Komori-san Can’t Say No. But I started Chichi chichi and I don’t like it as much, and I can’t figure out why.

The fact that it’s all straightforward ecchi gags maybe, but I don’t hate ecchi series. It just doesn’t feel as special as Ojojojo.

I'm actually kind of surprised how boring Dyna has been, questioning if I even want to watch the next episode after the godawful pool one. Cast is a bit better than Gridman, but that's not saying much as I still don't care that much for them. The fights are really dull since it's just the same thing every episode and unlike in other series that do the exact same thing (literally any sentai) it's boring somehow. Also the stupid joke of red head getting hit stopped being funny after the first time yet they keep doing it.

I don't know what I expected since Trigger has been pretty disappointing to me for a bit, but I'm just surprised that even with my lowered expectations I'm still not enjoying it that much. Currently the least favorite among the shows I'm still watching.
I don't remember much of Gridman's cast but the villains were great. Trigger in general just keep dropping the ball with their work yet somehow survive because we keep remembering the few good things they done, plus sheer hype.
Hope they make Cooler canon. He's been stuck in mid movies for too long.
My problem with bringing back villains is that they need to adapt to the new power level and it just makes all the hard work of the protagonists feel wasted. Broly going from lvl.1 to lvl. 9999 is a slap in the face the literal decades other characters trained.

Happy Mother's Day to Yukiko Koshigaya from Non Non Biyori!

Non Non Biyori also has the motherly older sister aspect with Kazuho Miyauchi since Renge and Kazuho's (and also Hikage's) mother is always either working the Miyauchi family's rice fields or sleeping due to having worked the rice fields.

Jesus christ, Crunchyroll is being absolute retards with Tokyo Revengers. They're censoring out the 'Majin' with streams of light, because they're afraid their audience of normies is too retarded to know what a manjin is. I mean, they're probably right.
well, they got bought by sony, what else to expect...

Ha ha ha, is this the first manga you've ever read or something?
I’ve never seen an author screw it up in this specific way. Most artists seem to have a basic understanding of the difference between poses that make girls look sexy and poses that make guys look sexy.

anyway, I read through Saikin Kono Sekai wa Watashi dake no Mono ni Narimashita... and while I’m not sure it‘s worth telling people to read through 70 chapters of what is mostly fanservice for it, the twists of the last 4 ot 5 chapters was pretty cool.

Stories about the last few people in a world are really hit or miss for me - I hated Casshern Sins and a lot of the other series that feel like they take place in Dr Seuss landscapes.
but I really liked Girl’s Last Tour and Chikyuu no Houkago.

Nigga it’s shota porn. It’s not that hard to tell.
