I knew this would happen, but damn I loved reading this. Honestly, competition fucked this up more than anything. This, & many others like Phantom Seer & Agravity Boys.
So Big West cucked out to the massive fucking scam company that is HG? What in the fuck? Why did Tatsunoku and Big West want to keep working with these damn clowns? They literally would have lost the rights to pretty much the whole thing within a few years if both companies didn't decide to cuck to them.Harmony Gold has gotten in cahoots with the rest of the Macross owners
"most" Macross is imminent through HG
iirc a year or two back HG said they resigned with TatsunokoSo Big West cucked out to the massive fucking scam company that is HG? What in the fuck? Remembering coming across ads like these while rummaging through back issues of magazines like "Science Fiction Age" and "SF Universe" published in the 1990s, which had all sorts of mail-order businesses from small book publishers, illustrators, to video retailers selling everything from "cult" classic movies, vintage science fiction, fantasy and horror movies and of course, anime, from outfits like The Right Stuf, and etc.

Streamline put out the three episodes they had finished as a movie. It's not worth it, trust me.I vaguely remember magazine ads for VHS tapes of Robotech II: The Sentinels, the "unfinished" Robotech series, published by Palladium Books in the late 1980s or early 1990s. I think they were probably printed in Dragon (Dungeons & Dragons) magazine, which my brother subscribed to, or, if not, it would have had to have been in one of the videogame magazines we regularly bought such as Video Games and Computer Entertainment, Electronic Gaming Monthly or GamePro (VG&CE was the best, it's a shame it didn't survive nearly as long as the other two magazines I mentioned).
Absolutely guilty as charged. I may or may not have a Yamato 1/48 25th Anniversary VF-1S. As well as a 1/60 Gamrin color VF-22S. The bucket list is the VF-4, but that's only the most desirable. The entire reason why merch exists is because they know pirates will still fucking buy 300 dollar fully transformable motorcycles and planes.
Yeah, when I first watched MGS79 (like... a decade or more ago now) one of the things that really stuck out to me was all the set-up with Sayla. She's Char's brother and Zeon royalty yet has a growing role in the Federation (or on White Base, at least) and a budding relationship with Amuro, setting up a conflict and dual loyalties... but none of that stuff really goes anywhere.Damn really? Sayla is one of my faves too and I was getting into the whole story about her complicated relationship with Char being her brother. Ngl, I thought Beltorchika was her for the first few episodes until I figured out I was just retarded and i'm going to say Amuro has a thing for blonde women. Well, Hopefully nothing bad happens to Mirai where i'm at then. She has a cute family with Bright and I'm curious to see how she's fitting into the whole zeta picture.
Damn that- well hurts I guess- I guess I should enjoy whatever Sayla bits I get while I can. I'm watching origin while I watch Zeta and I think Sayla is adorable so far. What is she, the Tenten of Gundam now?? Getting screen time and characterization in other sources outside of the main sauce?Yeah, when I first watched MGS79 (like... a decade or more ago now) one of the things that really stuck out to me was all the set-up with Sayla. I remember finding a couple of discussions about it, talking about her role being reduced from what was originally planned (I can't remember why; people linked to to articles and interviews but they were all in Japanese, so they could have been talking about Tomino's favorite curry recipes for all I know). That the show was cancelled and had a truncated ending likely didn't help much either. That Sayla tends to have a bigger role and an actual relationship with Amuro in the various re-tellings and adaptions show that there was definitely something more planned for her in the original series at some point.
Are you watching it subbed or dubbed? Personally, I usually go subbed for most things including movies but it might seem strange for a theater release. Finally ordered a ticket to demon slayer just gotta order my cosplay and I'm a smooth sailor tbh.![]()
For Demon Slayer (as well as majority of the anime) I'd recommend subbed too. Demon Slayer dub kinda sucks ass. Except for Giyu, Giyu sounds equally kino in dub.Are you watching it subbed or dubbed? I'm going dubbed tbh. I'm going with my mom since I got her hooked on the show. I accidently booked tickets for sub before I had to do the whole ass fandango exchange (which was surprisingly VERY easy). Personally I don't mind subs myself, but she has an issue keeping up with subbed animes so I made sure I got the dubbed version. I personally like the demon slayer dub myself but if you book tickets at least at my theater in the afternoons it was a DUB showing but at night it's a SUB showing if your curious. Are you watching it subbed or dubbed?
